Bianca Belair is Sole Survivor; Becky Lynch defeats Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series

Bianca Belair is the sole survivor of this year’s traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match giving the win to Team RAW. Belair beat the odds when she was down in the numbers.

Carmella was eliminated early on before she could fully get her mask on to protect her face. From there it was a bit before the next elimination but the last addition to Team SmackDown Toni Storm took out back-to-back opponents with Queen Zelina being the second eliminated. A huge crowd favorite of the match was a throwback one-on-one encounter between Banks and Belair.

Storm was taken out by the number one contender for the RAW Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. For a good portion of the match, the remaining members of Team SmackDown avoided the tag in from Banks having her fend for herself. She would eliminate Morgan off of a frog splash.

Once Rhea Ripley was the second to last eliminated for Team RAW by Baszler, this left Belair all alone, she was at a four to one disadvantage. The blue team then turned completely on its captain. Everyone went after Banks once the feud between Banks and Shotzi was brought to a boil. Everyone kept Banks out of the ring which gave her the 10-count and eliminated her.

Belair was then able to take out Natalya and Baszler before finally hitting a KOD on Shotzi to become the sole survivor and win the match.

The complete order of eliminations can be seen below –

  • Toni Storm eliminated Carmella
  • Toni Storm eliminated Queen Zelina
  • Liv Morgan eliminated Toni Storm
  • Sasha Banks eliminated Liv Morgan
  • Shayna Baszler eliminated Rhea Ripley
  • Sasha Banks was counted out
  • Bianca Belair eliminated Natalya
  • Bianca Belair eliminated Shayna Baszler
  • Bianca Belair eliminated Shotzi

With this accolade, Belair continues to pad the most successful year of her career.

To open up this year’s Survivor Series, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a highly anticipated Champion vs. Champion match with the animosity that was brought up over the past number of weeks. In a very stiff and hard-hitting match between the two champions, Lynch outsmarted Flair to pick up the win.

The two women traded a roll up near the ropes. When Flair first had Lynch’s shoulders down she used the rope for leverage and the referee caught her. Lynch then rolled up Flair in the same spot and used the ropes and did not get caught by the official.

Flair smiles and laughs after her defeat.
