TNA crowned new Knockouts Tag Team Champions tonight in the wake of Awesome Kong's departure from the company. In storyline, Taz and Mike Tenay announced that Kong and partner Hamada had been 'stripped' of the belts after failing to defend them in the past 30 days. In an incredibly fun match, the TNA Knockouts sort of made up for the earlier title shocker as Hamada and Awesome Kong became the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions, defeating Sarita and Taylor Wilde.
This is exactly the type of stuff I wanted to see more of on the show, it took nearly one and a half hours to get a good match that shows why TNA is an alternative. All the women delivered. Definitely go out of your way to see this one!...
