Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, August 10th
It’s hard to hazard a guess when you have no idea what’s going on; are they still doing the whole Mickie-Gail thing? I think they should maybe do a singles match between Mickie and Beth just to get it out of their systems, because I don’t want to see a big build towards that match in the future. Just have it happen tonight on Raw, maybe even put the Divas Title on the line. You could do something where Mickie beats Beth but Beth attacks her post-match, Gail comes out for the save but ends up attacking Mickie. But then again, didn’t she do that exact same thing with Trish & Molly? Eh, in this day and age it would be seen as ‘different’.

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, August 13th
I think we are long overdue a Divas match on Superstars. Maybe give the other girls from Raw something to do, I’ve been wanting to see a Kelly-Alicia match.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, August 14th
I think they need to sort out whatever’s going on with Michelle. Myself and Erin have already given our thoughts on what they should do and I stand by that, if she’s out of action, have the title vacated and announce a battle royal for SummerSlam. Then the next few weeks can be used with the Divas trying to impress the fans by picking up wins and gaining momentum into the PPV. Melina and the Bella Twins vs Katie, Layla & Natalya?

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, July 27th
They need to find a new setup because it’s obvious Maryse-Mickie part 2 won’t work. I would suggest either bringing Gail or Beth into the fold for a triple threat feud with Mickie and Maryse. My preference would be Gail, as she has a pin victory over Maryse during her time as Divas Champ.

Perhaps Mickie coming out and celebrating her new reign, Maryse coming out and doing her usual heel routine — talking down Mickie and saying she was robbed. Gail could interrupt and remind Maryse and Mickie of the fact she pinned Maryse and that it’s time for new blood in the title picture.

They could do a secondary match too, Kelly vs Alicia perhaps?

ECW

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 30th
Beth needs some screentime please!

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 31st
After last night, they need to prolong this feud and give us a third match between Melina & Michelle. Maybe have Michelle brag about how she’s beaten Melina again, berating Melina. They could then announce a ‘Last Chance’ match for next week where if Melina doesn’t beat Michelle, she’s out of the title picture.

Elsewhere, Eve-Natalya rematch.

Last week, Maryse pinned Mickie in the swimsuit match. I think she should continue to gain some momentum this week only to drop the title on Sunday. I’m going to carry over my idea from last week: Maryse pins Gail in receipt of her win two weeks ago. This sets up Maryse strong for the PPV, where I expect she’ll lose to Mickie.

ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, July 21st
I don’t know where they can take the Bellas vs Katie Lea feud, so maybe they should find a different direction to go in — maybe capitalising on the tension between the two on their first night on ECW a few weeks back. Maybe do another match between Bella vs Katie, but have them miscommunicate and botch the switcheroo and thus get disqualified leading to some words between Brie and Nikki.

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 23rd
Don’t think there will be one, but if they do have a match I expect it will be Eve vs Natalya.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 24th
With Night of Champions around the corner, Michelle and Melina need to appear this week after being left off last week. I was going to carry over my idea from last week but instead I think I’ll give Melina a bit of shine because it’s obvious she will lose at the PPV. Maybe have Melina & Eve vs Michelle & Natalya, with Melina pinning Michelle.

Mickie James goes over Maryse for the Divas Championship. Michelle retains over Melina.

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, July 13th
So Raw has two new Divas but it also has a Divas Championship match in a couple of weeks at Night of Champions. Following last week, when Gail pinned Maryse, you need to give the Divas Champ some momentum. I think the logical move would be to have Maryse pin Gail this week on Raw. However that would also kill Gail’s momentum; so maybe have Maryse cheat to win the match — this keeps Gail strong for whatever is next for her.

I’d also do a backstage segment planting the seeds for a secondary feud on Raw, giving newcomer Alicia Fox a storyline. This girl continues to impress and I’d like to see that rewarded. I’d like to see Alicia kinda storming into the Divas lockerroom acting like she owns the place and getting into a verbal confrontation with Kelly Kelly. Which leads to a match on Superstars.

ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, July 14th
Following Nikki Bella’s win over Katie Lea last week, I’d say the next step would be to give Brie a shot right? Brie Bella vs Katie Lea, I guess Brie and Nikki would switch to get another win over Katie.

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 16th
Following their altercation on Raw, we’d have Alicia Fox vs Kelly Kelly on Superstars. I think it’d be a cool way to give Alicia some shine by having her get the win over ‘golden girl’ Kelly, even if it is through cheating. They could play up ho Alicia has learned from Michelle and has become a very cunning Diva.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 17th
After last week’s big brawl after the match, I think they need to announce that Melina will get her rematch against Michelle at Night of Champions. As for a match, I’d like to see Michelle compete in a singles match for a change, rather than Melina. Michelle hasn’t had many singles matches in the past couple of months — Have her beat Eve or Maria and then do another brawl between her and Melina? Maybe have Melina do another ‘boot attack’ like we saw on Beth Phoenix, haha.

Please note: WWE will be taping two weeks worth of shows over the next 3 days, therefore I have decided to do the next two weeks worth of booking today. I could just wait till next week but by then, I will know the spoilers for next week’s show and I’d rather not be influenced by them.

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, June 29th
I’m going to carry forward my idea from last week that didn’t take place; I would do a Divas Championship match between Mickie and Maryse will Mickie finally winning the title. I think it’d be cool for both titles to change hands at a similar time.

Air Date: Monday, July 6th
With a new Divas Champion, I’d have a match on Raw between Maryse and Beth Phoenix to determine the new #1 Contender for the title to face Mickie at Night of Champions. I think I’d have Maryse go over Beth by cheating or maybe Rosa accidentally costs Beth the match.

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 2nd
This show is so hit & miss Diva wise, so there’s really no point predicting. But I guess they could do a filler match — maybe Kelly vs Jillian, with Kelly winning.

Air Date: Thursday, July 9th
Maybe give Alicia Fox a match here against Eve, Layla or Maria, take your pick.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 3rd
As this show falls the day before Fourth of July and with Michelle being the ‘All American Diva’ [well not so much since she turned heel], I think it’d be cool if they did an in-ring celebration with Michelle boasting that she’s the first ever double champion, just like she promised. Some balloons perhaps etc. Then Melina runs down to the ring & brawl ensues. Melina gets double teamed by Michelle and Alicia, Gail comes out to make the save but ends up turning on Melina.

Why have I done this? I think they need to even up the face-heel ratio and WWE has refused to book Gail in a manner to get her over and I think the only thing to do to save her is turn her heel. Don’t worry Gail, it happens to the best of stars. Look at Chris Jericho, his much awaited comeback as a babyface flopped and now he’s one of the biggest heels going!

Air Date: Friday, July 10th
With Melina still in shock after her friend turned on her the week before, I’d have Melina getting a rematch against Michelle McCool for the Women’s Championship. Gail interferes and costs Melina the match. Afterwards, she also lays out Michelle… showing she’s a ‘lone wolf’. This could set up a triple threat match for Night of Champions.

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, June 22nd
I’m kind of expecting/hoping for a Divas Championship match tonight on Raw. It just seems that they’ve done all they can do with this feud and you can’t hold off a title match any longer. With SmackDown getting the pay per view slot, it seems like this match may just occur on Raw. WWE has a tendency to leave the Divas off PPV and book title matches the week of the PPV; so I think this match will fit right in. Plus with tonight’s show being commercial-free, that frees up some time for a championship match.

If they do go that route, I predict Mickie James beats Maryse to become the new Divas Champion.

WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, June 25th
We haven’t seen Gail Kim in a long time & she’s not exactly part of any storylines at the moment. Superstars seems to be the ‘filler’ show for the brands [see Beth/Rosa vs the Bella Twins]. In keeping with that, I’d have Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox, just to give them both some TV time with Gail going over.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, June 26th
The final show before The Bash on Sunday. With Melina getting a match last week, I’d give Michelle McCool a squash match against Eve or Maria. Afterwards, Melina comes out and brawls with Michelle. Michelle makes a quick getaway and we have an intense staredown before Sunday.

The Bash
Air Date: Sunday, June 28th
Women’s Championship on the line between Melina and Michelle McCool. I think we should/could have new champions across the board, Michelle wins following Mickie’s win on Raw tonight.

In this very special one-off edition of Creative Team Meeting, my aim is to book the entire one hour broadcast of this coming Tuesday’s ECW show. Why? Because as you all know, this week’s ECW will be an all Divas special branded “Divas Night.”

First of all, as the show is one hour – or 42 minutes without commercials – this usually breaks down into four segments. Thus I will attempt to book the show into four segments, a mix of matches and promos.

The aim is to create a programme that not only highlights the current Diva storylines but also builds up the Miss WrestleMania battle royal at WrestleMania 25.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains spoilers about next week’s SmackDown. Avoid reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Notes
- Raw ring announcer, Lilian Garcia would replace ECW’s Justin Roberts on duty this week to tie in with the Divas Night theme.
- Eve Torres will serve as backstage interviewer.
- Throughout the night, Eve and/or the announce team will reveal some of the legends returning to compete in the Miss WrestleMania battle royal. Perhaps not all six so there are a couple of surprises on the night, but three at the most.

Opening Contest
Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly, Maria & Mickie James vs Jillian, Katie Lea, Layla & Natalya
This match will feature Divas from all three brands in the opening contest. It will likely result in the babyfaces picking up the win, perhaps Mickie pinning Katie Lea.

Announcers introduce the night’s main event, a rematch between Divas Champion Maryse and Women’s Champion Melina.

Eve Torres interviews Melina on her match with Maryse.

Second Match
Brie Bella (w/ The Colons) vs Nikki Bella (w/ Miz & Morrison)
Brie & Nikki grudge match following what happened on ECW last week. I would have Nikki go over by having Miz or Morrison cheat on her behalf. Brie would get retribution that Friday on SmackDown, as it’s been taped that her and the Colons will beat Nikki, Miz & Morrison.

Announcers reveal that Torrie Wilson will compete in the Miss WrestleMania match.

Commercial break.

In-Ring Segment with Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix makes her way down to the ring with Santino & Rosa Mendes. She brags about how she will win the Miss WrestleMania match. The main aim of this is to put over Beth a little more as she is no longer Women’s Champion. Trish Stratus appears on the titantron and cuts a short promo saying she’ll see Beth at WrestleMania, this would obviously get a good reaction from the fans.

Backstage, Eve is with Maryse to talk about the upcoming main event. Maryse insults Eve in her usual cocky fashion.

Commercial break.

Announcers announce the Divas Championship match between Maryse and Michelle McCool this Friday on SmackDown. They then run down the WrestleMania card and announce that Sunny will be in the Miss WrestleMania match.

Main Event
Divas Champion, Maryse vs Women’s Champion, Melina (Lumberjack Match)
Following the first match between these two which was won by Maryse, Melina picks up the win here. Michelle could slap Maryse, resulting in Melina hitting her with the Last Call. After the match, all of the Divas brawl as the show goes off the air.

I always come up with what I’d book for the week etc. And I thought why not introduce this to Diva Dirt as a possible weekly feature. So here’s how I’d book this week’s shows:

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, February 9th
Seems like the Beth Phoenix squash tour is in full force, in order to build up some steam for the Glamazon after losing the Women’s Championship. I guess she could squash Alicia Fox from ECW this week? I hope not… I think instead they should enhance the Rosa storyline. Maybe have Beth and Santino make her have a match to ‘prove herself’. After last week’s Raw, I’d have Rosa take on Candice and win. Afterwards, Beth and Rosa attack Candice and Melina makes the save.

Also, a Divas catfight between Mickie and Layla at ringside for the Intercontinental title match.

ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, February 10th
Divas action seems to be dead on ECW. So I’ll skip this…

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, February 13th
We already know it’ll be Michelle vs Maria. I’d have this match end in a double count out, with both Divas getting really heated and fighting it out on the outside and both being counted out. This would be done so this match can be carried over to No Way Out on Sunday.

No Way Out
Air Date: Sunday, February 15th
I’d have Maria vs Michelle in a rematch. I think this one would have to end with Maria finally getting retaliation and winning.

After last week’s false start to the tag match between Melina, Kelly, Jillian and Beth, I expect this match will be carried over to tonight’s show. I think Beth may pick up the win here, allowing Melina to ‘bring it’ at the Royal Rumble this Sunday as the underdog.

How will Rosa Mendes factor in? I expect she’ll be kept off tonight’s show. And we could possibly see the start of a Candice heel turn too.

ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, January 20th
They’ve seemingly done all they can do between the Burchills and Alicia Fox/DJ Gabriel. What is next? I wouldn’t mind seeing another Katie vs Alicia match, with Alicia going over.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, January 23rd
This week’s show has already been taped. This week sees the return of quite possibly the sexiest champion WWE has ever had and a tag team match.

Royal Rumble
Air Date: Sunday, January 25th
Melina vs Beth Phoenix for the Women’s Championship. It seems like WWE is preparing Melina for her third title reign. I expect Rosa Mendes will somehow accidentally cost Beth her title leading to Melina picking up the win.

So last week we had Melina and Goldust defeating Beth Phoenix and Santino, meanwhile Kelly Kelly beat Jillian. I think the logical move for this week’s show would be Melina & Kelly vs Beth & Jillian in a tag team match. I think Melina should go over here again, maybe getting another pin over Beth to gain momentum.

Meanwhile, Kelly also has her storyline with Kane. I expect she’ll be at ringside for his match with Randy Orton.

ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, January 13th
Following last week’s match between Alicia Fox and Katie Lea, I expect they’ll go for a mixed tag match this week. I wouldn’t mind, however, seeing a rematch of last week’s match with Alicia getting the win this time. If they do go for the mixed tag route, I expect the Burchills to pick up the win.

Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, January 16th
I’m going to get a little more adventurous here… I think Maryse is set to return this week, so I’d have her return to SmackDown be billed as ‘Maryse’s Victory Celebration’ where she has an in-ring celebration for her Divas Championship win. Confetti, scantily clad men carrying her to the ring… y’know, something fun. A cocky promo about how it’s an honour for the fans to have Maryse as their Divas Champ only to be interrupted by the debuting Gail Kim. Gail comes out and says she’s excited to be back in the WWE and wanted to introduce herself to Maryse and couldn’t think of a more perfect time since Maryse was celebrating being the new Divas Champion, Gail says she’ll be sure to invite Maryse to her victory celebration when she’s the new champion. Maryse gets pissy and slaps Gail, Gail slaps Maryse back and Maryse falls to the canvas and Gail celebrates. Maryse has a tantrum in the ring to end the scene.

A fun segment that introduces Maryse as the Divas Champ, debuts Gail Kim, introduces a new feud to SmackDown and in case Maryse is still hurt, it doesn’t require her to wrestle.

And if they’re feeling extra generous and want to give us a Divas match too, I would have Eve vs Michelle McCool. Eve wants revenge against Michelle, but Michelle beats her thus sending a message to Maria who’s still at home.
