Diva Dirt is proud to announce that we have teamed up with TNA Knockout, Awesome Kong and Wrestlers 4 Haiti to put together a friendly competition among wrestlers on Twitter to raise money for the people of Haiti which was struck by a tragic earthquake earlier this week.

As part of the competition entitled Wrestlers Tweet 4 Haiti, we ask all wrestlers — be it male or female — to tweet to their followers to send a donation via PayPal to Wrestlers4Haiti@gmail.com. We ask that all wrestlers ask their followers to write their name in the message box when they send their pledge via PayPal [as seen below].

The wrestler whose followers raise the most amount of money will win the competition and receive a trophy or custom belt! It’s not only a competition for the wrestlers, but for their fans too to show their support for their favourite superstars!

Please donate as much as you can or as little as you can, there is no limit — even $1 can make a difference.

How to pledge via PayPal
1. Log in to your PayPal account or sign up for one.
2. Click on the ‘Send Money’ tab.
3. Type Wrestlers4Haiti@gmail.com in the ‘To’ field and enter your pledge amount into the ‘Amount’ field.
4. Choose how you wish to send the payment [it's advised to send it as 'personal' and 'gift].
5. On the confirmation screen, you will see ‘Email to recipient’ which shows something similar to the image below. In the ‘Message’ field type in the name of the wrestler who you are pledging in support of. As you can see in the example below, the pledge is in support of Awesome Kong.

6. Click ‘Send Money’ to send your payment!

We are looking to raise as much money as possible over the next 24-48 hours so we can cut a check on Monday morning. However, we do hope to keep this ongoing for as long as Haiti is in crisis. All pledges will be sent to the American Red Cross’ Haiti emergency appeal fund.

Please spread the word to your favourite wrestler on Twitter and ask them to get involved! We need your help to make sure we can raise as much money as possible!

We are extremely proud to announce today that Diva Dirt has launched it’s own online charity drive ‘Diva Dirt Gives Back’, an entire month of fundraising with proceeds being split between two nominated charities: Wrestler’s Rescue and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Over the past 18 months, Diva Dirt has built a distinct fanbase of our own — avid women’s wrestling fans from all over the globe. We wanted to be able to harness our place in that community to do some good. This October, we will be hosting what we hope will be our first annual ‘Diva Dirt Gives Back’ month filled with auctions where fans can win one-of-a-kind memorabilia from their favourite Divas, Knockouts and other women of wrestling from the past and present.

Over the next two months, we aim to reach out to as many of those talents as possible, as well as wrestling organisations to help sponsor our charity drive by making donations of unique items that fans can bid on through eBay! Already on board is one of the most popular ex-WWE Divas in history, Torrie Wilson has pledged her support to ‘Diva Dirt Gives Back’. We also have support from fellow former Diva, Dawn Marie and SHIMMER, ChickFight and TNA talent Cheerleader Melissa better known as Alissa Flash or Raisha Saeed.

It’s a win-win situation, we are offering our readers and other fans across the world the chance to own memorabilia from their favourite female stars and promotions while we get to raise money for two extremely worthy causes!
