<p>Former and current Knockouts Champions will face off at TNA&#8217;s Against All odds pay per view on February 12th as <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> defends against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a>.</p>
<p>On last night&#8217;s episode of Impact Wrestling, Tara beat <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> for the opportunity to face Kim at the show.</p>
<p>The pair have a lot of history together stemming back to their days in WWE as well as in recent months in TNA, however, this is probably their biggest match yet as they&#8217;ve never had a singles match on pay per view.</p>
<p>If you cast your minds back to a few months ago, Tara was actually Gail&#8217;s first match back in TNA. Plus, Gail &amp; <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> won the Knockouts Tag Titles from Tara and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/brooke-tessmacher">Brooke Tessmacher</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> Anyone who has seen their past work knows that these two have great chemistry so put them in a pay per view match, hopefully with plenty of time, and we should get a great match.</p>
<div class="scBox update"><b>UPDATE:</b> TNA has also announced that Gail and Tara will face off on next week&#8217;s episode of Impact Wrestling in a non-title preview match. The match will be taped tomorrow at Wembley Arena in London, England.</div>

<p>Greetings everyone and welcome to your official TNA Genesis recap extravaganza! Impact Wrestling rang in the new year with a pay per view last night and what a show it was. Knockouts-wise, we saw <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> defend her Knockouts Championship against challenger, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>, in a match that was sure to be top notch from the get go. <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a>, however, did not let this go down like their previous showings which saw <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> hijack Mickie&#8217;s hopes and dreams of becoming a nine time champ. Just what did she have up her sleeve? Why scroll on down and have a gander before I sic some bitches and skanks on you.</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xnjrw4"></iframe></p>
<p>We head backstage to see Jeremy Borash awaiting Sting&#8217;s arrival&#8230; until he is stopped by our very own Velvet Sky! She tells JB that she knows Sting is due here and she&#8217;s been looking for him all day. Velvet mentions that she would like to be the new Knockouts VP since she displays loyalty as a VP should as she&#8217;s been here, consistently, for five years now and never went away. Sting can&#8217;t seem to get a word in before Velvet turns the attention to Madison Rayne, and says that she sticks her dirty paws in all of the matches. Velvet claims that Mickie James needs to have a fair chance in tonight&#8217;s match, and that won&#8217;t happen with Madison Rayne standing behind Gail, therefore she&#8217;s come up with a brilliant plan to keep Madison away. Velvet then whispers it into Sting&#8217;s ear, but Sting says the crew could never pull it off in this short amount of time. Velvet understands and says that all she needed was his approval because she had it built earlier in the day. She then dubs it the &#8220;Velvet Touch&#8221;, as Sting agrees to support it and Velvet heads off!</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xnjrzk"></iframe></p>
<p>Up first, we see a great video package highlighting the feud between Mickie and Gail, in which Gail calls herself &#8220;The Chosen One&#8221; and Mickie claims Gail has politicked her way through the division since she got here. Following a tale of the tape which basically summarizes points in their feud, we finally shoot to the arena and focus on a cage that I personally think Diva Dirt&#8217;s own Cryssi constructed, considering that it is covered with pink and white bars!</p>
<p>HAAAARRDDDDCURRRRR COUNNNTREHHHH then blasts over the sound system as the plaid lass, Mickie James, two steps her way on down to the ring and poses for the loud crowd. Following her entrance, the (still addicting) theme of Gail Kim hits, as she and Madison make their way out with all of their titles in hand. </p>
<p>They step around the ring as Gail poses on the apron with the belts. The referee tries to inform Madison that she must enter Velvet&#8217;s Touch, but she refuses! She demands the bell be rang, but then out comes the possible new Knockouts VP, Velvet Sky! Velvet basically backs Madison up near the cage, and once the referee opens it, she shoves Rayne inside. The referee locks the door as the cage begins to rise! Poor Madison shrieks for her life, as Velvet relishes in her torment. Finally, the bell sounds, as Gail and Mickie take control of the action. Gail shoves James back into the corner and applies her boot to the throat for a choke. She then runs forward with a nice clothesline, following it up with a sharp running knee to the back.</p>
<p>Kim taunts the fans a little as she goes for a clothesline that Mickie ducks. James with the bridging roll up for a close call, as she then slides under a kick attempt and snapmares Gail over. Running dropkick to the face gets the challenger a two count as Madison screams in fear. Mickie is sent into the corner, but elbows Gail in the face. She goes for the Mick-A-Rana, but Gail hoists her over the ropes and then drags her through them to slam her face down hard for a two count. The crowd begins to chant about 75% Mickie, 25% Gail, as Kim goes for her elastic type corner move, but Mickie gets out of dodge. Gail then snaps Mickie&#8217;s jaw off the ropes and begins to knee her in the stomach!</p>
<p>Gail sends Mickie flying and hits her elastic move after all. A few kicks to the back, as Gail flies towards the corner and catches herself on the second rope. She goes for a crossbody, but Mickie dropkicks her in the abdomen! Mickie then goes for another slide under the leg, but Gail drops her knee down. Velvet then starts to scream for Madison to shut up, as Mickie connects with a nice arm drag and begins to mount a come back with a pair of clotheslines. The crowd goes wild, as she connects with the flapjack into a kip up! Gail with a knee to the face, as she then runs forward into the Octopus Stretch. Mickie ends up dropping her into an awesome slam. Hook of the leg for a two count! Mickie goes for the Mickie-DT, but Gail shoves her back into the ropes. Gail charges, but Mickie moves and Gail is sent flying to the outside. Velvet Sky walks up to her, but Gail pushes her away and trips Mickie up. </p>
<p>Mickie kicks Gail in the face and connects with a nice Mick-A-Rana off the ring apron. James throws Kim back inside and goes to the top rope&#8230; can she? YES! Thesz Press into the split pin for a two count. James then goes for the arm trap neckbreaker, but Gail counters into a hair pull backbreaker (shades of my Knockout queen, Winter) and Madison drops a pair of brass knucks into the ring! The referee spots them before Gail unfortunately, and removes them from the equation. Madison then takes advantage to toss Gail another pair, but as she goes to hit Mickie, James kicks her in the stomach and DRILLS her in the face for the disqualification. The referee calls the bell, as Gail retains her title and a &#8220;bullshit&#8221; chant erupts. Gail and Madison relish in their victory, as Velvet and Mickie plan for another day.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> I&#8217;m pretty torn on this ending. In one sense, I liked it because I didn&#8217;t see it coming. To be honest, I thought for sure when Mickie was outside, Velvet was going to screw her over and turn heel because Mickie basically invaded Velvet&#8217;s push without her even getting her rematch. I like when wrestling is unpredictable, so in that way, I kind of liked being surprised. On the other hand, I don&#8217;t think Mickie and Gail have had enough stuff happen in their feud for Mickie to say &#8220;screw it&#8221; and just beat her down with the brass knuckles. I could see Traci doing that and it would make sense, but the feud hasn&#8217;t really been about Mickie per say. For instance, the segment on Impact focused on Traci, and Traci shows that fire and aggression in the ring when she faces off with Gail. I could have easily seen Traci run down the ramp when the second pair of knucks came out and SHE wuould whack Gail causing the DQ, which would&#8217;ve been perfect in my opinion because it would&#8217;ve made more sense and Mickie/Traci could have some tension which could&#8217;ve developed into a triple threat to mix things up.</p>
<p>Actually, I don&#8217;t understand why Traci wasn&#8217;t given the role Velvet had tonight anyways considering she&#8217;s been lobbying to be VP since the storyline began, and Velvet hasn&#8217;t even been on TV in a month, but I really like Velvet so it was good to see her back. The match was solid though, and I&#8217;d rank it second or third of their past showings because I enjoyed the main event on Impact last week a little bit more, but it&#8217;s pretty close to their Final Resolution bout for me. I think there were too many distractions, but I loved that Gail retained because I want the title to have lengthy reigns. It seems like she is the person who they&#8217;ve put their stock into, so I&#8217;m glad that the hot potato games have stopped. I don&#8217;t know where they go from here, whether or not Mickie will continue to face Gail, or maybe Velvet will step up to the plate? Anything really can happen, but for now I&#8217;m just going to sit back and wait to see.</p>
<p><strong>Match Rating:</strong> 3/5</p>

<p>If TNA&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s resolution was to confuse fans of the Knockouts division, they certainly succeeded tonight.</p>
<p>Valiant babyface <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> cost herself the Knockouts Championship in very heel-like manner by clocking champion <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> with a pair of brass knuckles in view of the referee.</p>
<p>And that wasn&#8217;t all! <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2012/01/08/velvet-sky-teases-appearance-at-genesis-tonight-vows-to-take-a-stand-for-knockouts-division/">revealed her plan to &#8220;take a stand&#8221;</a> for the Knockouts division by lobbying for the role of Knockouts VP, vacated last month after <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarrett/">Karen Jarrett</a>&#8216;s firing, and wanted to prove herself to Sting by suggesting a stipulation for the Knockouts match. With Sting signing off on Velvet&#8217;s idea, Gail&#8217;s partner <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> found herself hanging above the ring in a cage to prevent her from interfering in the match.</p>
<p>However, even with Madison Rayne unable to interfere, Gail Kim retained the Knockouts Title in the third match between her and James.</p>
<p>Perhaps summing up the general sentiment regarding the way this segment ended, the Impact Zone crowd rather aptly chanted, &#8220;Bullshit!&#8221;</p>
<p>A confusing night, indeed.</p>

<p>Tonight at Genesis, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> puts the Knockouts Championship on the line against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> for the third time. Which Knockout will walk out with the gold? The Diva Dirt team weigh in&#8230;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Bobby:</span> This could easily go either way. I&#8217;m not sure if TNA would really go for Mickie losing three straight times in a row, but part of me just doesn&#8217;t see Gail&#8217;s title reign ending yet. I just hope that if Gail wins, it&#8217;s on her own accord and not because of help. Perhaps maybe Madison can stroll down, but Mickie takes her out this time, only she then turns around into the Eat Defeat and <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> retains the Knockouts Title.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cryssi:</span> You know what, I&#8217;ll be completely honest. I really didn&#8217;t have a clue that there was a pay per view tonight. So in the spirit of TNA, where titles can change hands more times than a prostitute changes underwear (and hey, they change via lock box too), I&#8217;m going to flip a coin. Heads, Mickie wins. Tails, Gail wins. Drum roll pleeeeeeeeease&#8230;&#8230;.. TAILS! IT LANDED ON TAILS! <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> WINS! She&#8217;s likely going to be Knockouts Champion forever until another former Diva joins TNA. That&#8217;s all. Go Broncos!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Katelyn:</span> <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong>. In keeping with the Knockouts Title hot potato, I choose <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> to take the victory and her third Knockouts Championship. And given that Gail&#8217;s won several matches against Mickie via Madison Rayne interference recently, I say the dastardly duo try it again but it backfires.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Melanie:</span> With two losses to Gail, it&#8217;s possible that Mickie will take the title tonight, but I hope that&#8217;s not the case. Mickie had a lot of time in the spotlight last year and frankly, I&#8217;m enjoying Gail as champion. I think there&#8217;s a lot more that they could do with Gail, such as giving Traci Brooks a title shot against her. Those two have had good chemistry since Gail&#8217;s return and I think that Traci has earned a shot. I&#8217;m going to go with <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> for the win.</p>
<p><strong>Who do you think will win? Tell us in the comments&#8230;</strong></p>

<p>TNA is teasing a big angle with <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a>, who is not scheduled to wrestle, for tonight&#8217;s Genesis pay per view.</p>
<p>In a video on their YouTube channel, Sky is seen hurriedly entering the Impact Zone and interrupted by SoCal Val. Velvet says she needs to speak to Sting because she&#8217;s &#8220;sick and tired&#8221; of what&#8217;s been going on in the Knockouts division and plans to &#8220;take a stand&#8221; tonight.</p>
<p>What could this be about? We&#8217;ll have to wait till the pay per view later tonight, but it looks like there&#8217;s something big in the works for the Knockouts.</p>
<p>Watch the video below:</p>
<p><iframe width="580" height="325" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GHeKNA3xZsU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Also scheduled for the PPV is <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> vs <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> for the Knockouts Title.</p>

<p>As we prepare for tonight&#8217;s TNA Genesis pay per view, let&#8217;s take a look back at past events&#8230;</p>
<p><b>2010</b> | In 2010, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/odb">ODB</a> continued their feud over the Knockouts Title into January&#8217;s Genesis pay per view. Tara won the belt from ODB at December 2009&#8242;s Final Resolution pay per view before losing it just two weeks later on a live episode of Impact which went head-to-head with WWE&#8217;s Raw on a Monday night. With ODB once again the champion, the pair faced off in one final match at Genesis, a two out of three falls bout to put an end to the back-and-forth for good.</p>

<p>Welcome everybody, and yes, it&#8217;s Monday, so you know what that means&#8230; TNA pay per view last night! It was a stacked show from top to bottom, but the Knockouts portion brought forth&#8230; (enters Christy Hemme mode)&#8230; current reigning and defending TNA Knockouts Champion, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a>, as she put her title on the line against the top contender, Miss Hardcore Country, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>! It was a pretty hyped match considering their infamous past encounter in WWE, but can they make up for it this go around?</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s find out&#8230;</p>
<p><iframe width="580" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kMSy-GI4Mlg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>First, we check out a video package depicting Mickie James&#8217; road to contendership for Gail Kim&#8217;s Knockouts Title. After some quotes from our beloved, benevolent, gracious activist in this sea of scantily clad femininity, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarrett">Miss Karen</a>, we head to the ring as the commentators go through&#8230; um, the video package again? Oh wait, I get it! TNA is rewarding me with an early Christmas gift by showing me these clips of Miss Karen all over again! She is, after all, so nice we get to see her twice! The entire video runs through a second time, and once it finishes, we finally head out to the ring and get things underway with some good ol&#8217; fashioned&#8230; (clears throat)</p>
<p>HAAAAAAAARDCORREEE COUNNTRRYYYYYY!</p>
<p>Mickie skips out looking top notch in her southern finest, as she proceeds to rock my world with her thrillbilly sound while executing a few poses. Out next comes the theme music that I randomly love as Gail Kim struts out holding all of her gold. Looking great as always, Gail walks to the side of the ring and taunts the fans with her belts before the referee holds the singles championship for contention. The bell sounds as the two ladies lock up into a corner. Gail charges, but Mickie moves out of the way and plants Kim with a drop toe hold. </p>
<p>They twirl around the ring for a few with some holds, before Gail kips up and reverses into a wrist lock. Mickie with a one armed cartwheel, but the experienced Champion knows those country tricks and proceeds to toss her down by the hair. Kim blows a kiss to one of her adorning fans, I&#8217;m sure, before going for a few punches that James blocks. Mickie manages to plant Gail with her one armed neckbreaker for a two count, before losing the momentum she had to the Champ. Gail with an uppercut to send Mickie into the ropes, as she then Irish whips her onto the opposing side.</p>
<p>Mickie tries to slide under Gail&#8217;s legs, but Gail backs up and lifts her by the hair. James counters with a snapmare into a baseball style dropkick to send Gail into the corner. Mickie charges forward, but Gail slithers onto the top rope like a snake, and goes for a flipping type roll up, only the challenger holds onto the ropes and screams &#8220;I DON&#8217;T THINK SO!&#8221; Mickie proceeds to elbow Gail in the face and go for her Mick-A-Rana, but Kim flips it over and DRILLS her face first into the canvas with a sort of reverse style Alabama Slam.</p>
<p>As I grab my own face in pain from that impact, Gail begins to stalk her prey and kick Mickie in the head. She continues to taunt her some, before running off the ropes with a clothesline for a two count. Gail covers Mickie and pounds away for a near fall, then proceeding to hit a sick backbreaker. She keeps the hold in tact, as she lifts Mickie back up, only Mickie counters into a really unique roll-up for the close count. Nice move! Both women try to get back up, but Gail runs forward and sucker punches Mickie in the face for a two count. Some mixed chants begin, as Gail continues to just take Mickie down with some kicks, before locking in an Indian Deathlock type submission to the knee!</p>
<p>Mickie screams in pain, as Gail transforms the hold into a move I remember seeing her use before where she bends Mickie&#8217;s legs over her head. James grabs onto the hair and starts pulling, which eventually stops the pain. James with some punches, but to no avail as Gail kicks her into the ropes and proceeds to choke. Kim sends Mickie into the corner and goes for her elastic type swing through the ropes, only she moves and Gail flies out of the ring and lands pretty nasty with her knee colliding into the steel steps! Good lord&#8230;</p>
<p>Gail crawls onto the ring apron, as Mickie flips her back over and begins to control the match with a Mick-A-Rana. Some clotheslines follow, as Mickie tries to get the crowd on her side with a flapjack/kip up combo that makes me stare in awe every time. She goes to the top rope, but Gail kicks her leg off and climbs to the top rope. A &#8220;Gail Kim Sucks&#8221; chant erupts, as she goes for a top rope hurricanrana&#8230; only Mickie holds on and Gail falls down. Mickie with a Thesz Press off the top rope for a two count! James goes for the Mickie-DT, but Gail counters into what looks to be her Eat Defeat, only Mickie dragon-screw&#8217;s the leg over and she falls outside the ring.</p>
<p>Mickie tries to invite Gail back into the ring, but Kim simply takes her titles and begins to high tail it out of the arena. Mickie follows close behind and slaps her in the face, before going to drag her back towards the ring. Gail stops her with a kick to the midsection, as she tries to Irish whip Mickie into the turnbuckle, only Mickie reverses it and Gail is sent FLYING like a dang squirrel into the pole. Mickie smiles at this, as she drags the champion back into the ring&#8230; but as she climbs back up herself, out runs <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> who distracts Mickie long enough for Gail to hit the Eat Defeat off the ropes for the victory! Gail Kim retains her title!</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> I actually really liked this match. I wasn&#8217;t sure going into it how things would go since&#8230; well, I don&#8217;t need to get into it, but I thought Mickie and Gail worked great together. That spot where Gail&#8217;s knee hit the stairs looked like it wasn&#8217;t supposed to happen, and hats off to her for continuing on with the match because it seemed to be incredibly painful looking. I wasn&#8217;t crazy about the finish because I feel like this is how Gail is winning all her matches, and while I get the stable and all, I don&#8217;t think someone who holds both titles should have to cheat to win every match. I don&#8217;t mind it once in a while, but I think it&#8217;s nice to have a Champion win on their own merit. Hopefully this feud continues on, or at least, Gail&#8217;s title reign does because the hot potato games seemed to have finally cooled down for now. Overall, I&#8217;d definitely say that I think this match has finally made up for that&#8230; once again, I don&#8217;t need to bring it up. Let&#8217;s all think of this outing when we hear the words &#8220;Mickie vs Gail&#8221; from now on.</p>
<p><strong>Match Rating:</strong> 3.5/5</p>

<p>The &#8220;hot potato&#8221; streak is officially over! Following title changes on the last four consecutive pay per views, the reigning Knockouts Champ <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> proved to be a worthy champion by retaining the belt in a match against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>.</p>
<p>Gail can perhaps thank <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> &#8212; with whom she also holds the Knockouts Tag Team Championships &#8212; for helping her end the streak as Rayne interfered on Kim&#8217;s behalf, distracting Mickie and allowing Gail to hit the Eat Defeat on her.</p>
<p>The belt previously changed hands at Turning Point last month when Gail won, Bound for Glory in October when <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> won, as well as No Surrender in September and Hardcore Justice in August when <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> won. The last champion to retain on a pay per view was Gail&#8217;s opponent tonight, Mickie James, who defeated <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a> in July at Victory Road.</p>
<p><strong>What did you think of the match? Did the right person win? Sound off in the comments&#8230;</strong></p>

<p>Tonight at Final Resolution, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> puts the Knockouts Championship on the line against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>. Which Knockout will walk out with the gold? The Diva Dirt team weigh in&#8230;</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> This, like all TNA pay per view matches, could go either way. It&#8217;s no secret that seeing a title reign exceed one month is pretty rare nowadays, but I believe <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> is the Knockout to do it. Under the guidance of Miss Karen, she will leave Final Resolution still the Knockouts Champion, however, I don&#8217;t see Mickie leaving the top contender&#8217;s position just yet.</p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> I&#8217;m pretty sure Gail Kim is going to win this but just to be different, I&#8217;m going to say <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> pulls off the upset. Gail, Madison, and Karen need to be knocked down a peg or two, and it still bothers me that Gail was just handed two championships upon her return.</p>
<p><u>Erin:</u> Gail&#8217;s pretty much become a force to be reckoned with in the Knockouts division, much thanks to her alliance with Karen Jarrett. I just don&#8217;t see their reign of terror ending so soon, which is what a win by Mickie would do. I think it&#8217;ll take some build-up to overthrow them, and now&#8217;s just not the time, though Mickie would probably be the woman to pull it off when the time comes. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> wins this one.</p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong>. Seems like TNA is trying to show WWE that their loss is TNA&#8217;s gain. I don&#8217;t think her title reign is over&#8230; just yet.</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> Considering the title has changed hands on pretty much every pay per view over the past few months, it&#8217;d be easy to follow the trend and predict that Mickie wins, however, I have a feeling that <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Gail Kim</span></strong> will continue to reign as double-champion in the Knockouts division.</p>
<p><b>Who do you think will win? Tell us in the comments&#8230;</b></p>

<p><b>2010</b> | Last year, the debuting <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> found herself in an intense feud with fellow former WWE Diva, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a>. The pair fought it out the month prior at Turning Point, but the stakes were upped at Final Resolution 2010 when they battled in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Watch below:</p>

<p>As we get ready for tonight&#8217;s Final Resolution pay per view where <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> defends the Knockouts Title against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>, we take a look back at past events&#8230;</p>
<p><b>January 2008</b> | It was at the first of two Final Resolutions to take place in 2008 that Gail Kim and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/kharma">Awesome Kong</a> met for the second time in their championship series. The much revered rivalry between the pair helped put the Knockouts division on the map. After managing to pull off the upset the previous month, could Gail do it again?</p>
<p>Indeed, Gail once again managed to defeat Kong at the pay per view &#8212; but just four days later she would lose the Knockouts Title in a rematch in the main event of Impact.</p>

(We&#8217;re pretty sad about it too.)</p>
<p>Yes, the classy, elegant and highly democratic Vice President of the Knockouts division, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarrett/">Karen Jarret</a>, could be fired tomorrow night at Final Resolution if husband Jeff Jarrett loses his match against Jeff Hardy.</p>
<p><a title="Permanent Link to Exclusive: Knockouts VP Karen Jarrett Issues Warning to Rosita and Other Knockouts" href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/12/09/exclusive-knockouts-vp-karen-jarrett-issues-warning-to-rosita-and-other-knockouts/" rel="bookmark">Exclusive: Knockouts VP Karen Jarrett Issues Warning to Rosita and Other Knockouts</a></p>
<p>The stipulation adds yet another wrinkle to an already complicated match: it will be a cage match, and Karen will be handcuffed to Sting throughout so she can&#8217;t interfere. The latest twist comes from Sting, who is now an authority figure in TNA, I believe. (I don&#8217;t pay attention.)</p>

<p>TNA President <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/dixie-carter">Dixie Carter</a> made the announcement on her Twitter page, writing: </p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet tw-align-center"><p>Sting just called me w/an addl stip for tomorrows Jarrett v Hardy PPV cage match. If Jarrett loses, either he OR Karen will be fired.</p>

<p>After winning a 10-Knockout gauntlet match on last night&#8217;s episode of Impact Wrestling, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james" target="_blank">Mickie James</a> has earned the right to challenge <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim" target="_blank">Gail Kim</a> for the Knockouts Title next month at Final Resolution.</p>
<p>The match will be the pair&#8217;s first singles bout since that <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTO4KticEMk" target="_blank">infamous match</a> on WWE&#8217;s Monday Night Raw in August 2009.</p>
<p>Final Resolution takes place on December 11th.</p>
<p><b>Thoughts:</b> My first thought: Poor Velvet. While Mickie vs Gail is a feud I think they should do eventually, it seems like they&#8217;ve just rushed into it and haven&#8217;t properly completed the current storyline between Velvet and Gail/Karen Jarrett. There&#8217;s still more mileage in that feud and Velvet should have gotten a rematch at this pay per view next month. Then you could do the Mickie feud to kick off 2012 with a bang.</p>

<p>Greetings everybody. Is it I, the one and only VP of the Miss Karen fanclub, and I am here to bring you a pay per view dose of Knockouts action. Last night was Turning Point, and it was a night that I&#8217;m sure will be highly controversial indeed. First up for the ladies was <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a> (w/ <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/rosita">Rosita</a>) and <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/toxxin">Toxxin</a> (Christina Von Eerie) in a six person mixed tag team match for the Tag Titles. We also saw reigning Knockouts Champion, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a>, put her title on the line against the woman brought in by the aid of <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarrett">Miss Karen</a>, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a>, in a match that would either give Velvet some credibility, or make Gail the ultimate Knockout in the division. Can the pigeons overcome this evil lady with a purpose? Will Gail prove that she means business in the Knockouts division? Heck, will our beloved <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/traci-brooks">Aunt Traci</a> or forgotten child, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a>, make their presence known tonight?</p>
<p>There&#8217;s only one way to find out the answers to all of these burning questions&#8230; scroll on down!</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xmblcu"></iframe></p>
<p>As we head to the back, we see the phenomenal, talented, poised beacon of hope in this division, Miss Karen, standing by with her crusade of talent, Gail Kim and Madison Rayne. Jeremy Borash, for some unjust reason, asks Miss Karen if Gail is ready for the match tonight, to which our ruler states the obvious answer. The VP continues on that Kim is going to walk on down to that ring and bring that belt back with her! Miss Karen informs Jeremy that the entire Knockouts Division is a reflection upon her perfect self (note: apologies if I ad-lib a few lines here and there), and that she can not&#8230; CAN NOT&#8230; have a &#8220;nasty, skanky, little ho, smart-mouth little bitch&#8221; running around with the belt! </p>
<p>Miss Karen states that whenever she has a problem, she fixes it, and she did so by going out and bringing in the perfect role model for everyone, Gail Kim! She continues that she wants total Knockout dominance amongst her stable, and Gail is the perfect look for the champion to have. Our brilliant forgotten child, Madison Rayne, chimes in to gain Miss Karen&#8217;s approval, which the lady in black adds that Madison is beautiful too. Borash then turns the mic over to Gail, and she proclaims that she&#8217;s never been more ready in her life for this. </p>
<p>Kim calls this a piece of cake&#8230; a cake walk&#8230; and I suddenly begin to crave a piece of cake. Thanks Gail&#8230; But back to business, Miss Karen then professes that Gail does not need their help tonight because she was brought to the division to show the other girls how things are done. She is going to take care of business the WAY it&#8217;s supposed to be taken care of! The two shake hands as Miss Karen sends Gail off and grabs forgotten child, Madison Rayne, to tag along for the ride of dominance.</p>
<p>We then follow up with a video package highlighting the build up to this upcoming title defense, before Gail Kim makes her grand entrance to the ring. Decked out in some cool new gear, she poses with her Tag Team Champioship belt before stepping through the ropes and getting ready for her big moment. Up next comes the Knockouts Champion herself, Velvet Sky! Velvet hurries to the ring, but not before taking a moment to show off her gold to the crowd. After letting the pigeons loose, the two ladies stand toe to toe in the ring, before Velvet quickly spears Gail down and begins to beat her up.</p>
<p>Gail scurries out of the ring, but Velvet comes back with a baseball slide and slams the challenger&#8217;s head into the ring apron. The two ladies get back inside, as Gail goes for a kick that ends up being blocked and turned into a clothesline. Velvet continues her assault on Gail with a sweet crossbody, before taking control with a running clothesline to the corner. She follows it up going for ten punches in the corner, but after about the fifth one, Gail manages to drop her right onto the ropes. Gail then suddenly takes control with some kicks to the stomach. </p>
<p>She then sends Velvet into the corner and charges off with a midsection spear through the ropes. Gail knees her opponent in the stomach and snapmares her over, as&#8230; MY LIFE IS MADE! Miss Karen graces my screen with her applauding presence, as buyrates for this event increase higher than ever before due to the sight. Gail goes for a pin attempt, but only for a two count. Velvet tries to fight back and goes for another crossbody, but Gail manages to drop her with a slam onto the knee as Miss Karen applauds her girl from the stage. Kim then locks in an abdominal stretch, as the crowd begins to get behind Velvet.</p>
<p>Velvet manages to counter it with a flip over Jackknife cover. After a two count, she capitalizes with another quick roll up for a near fall. Both women get to two feet, but Gail Kim takes control quickly. She sends Velvet into the corner and leaps off for a reverse crossbody, but Velvet spots this coming and kicks Gail in the stomach. Velvet with some sharp kicks to the leg, before sending Gail off the ropes with a set of clotheslines. She follows it up with some facebusters to the knee, and then a great bulldog! </p>
<p>Gail goes for a clothesline, but Velvet drops her with the move I dubbed the &#8220;Sky Cry&#8221; for a close fall. She goes for the double underhook facebuster, only Gail shoves her back into the corner. Kim them signals for Eat Defeat until Velvet shoves her boot away and hits the double underhook facebuster! Miss Karen then takes it upon herself to argue with the referee, as forgotten child, Madison Rayne runs inside and hits the Rayne Drop on Velvet. Gail drapes herself over Sky, but the champion manages to kick out!</p>
<p>The crowd begins to get behind Velvet, as Gail climbs to the top rope and misses a missile dropkick attempt! Velvet goes for a roll up, but Gail reverses it, still for a near fall. Velvet signals the double underhook again, but Madison Rayne grabs her by the boot and distracts her long enough for Gail to nail the Eat Defeat for the shocking victory! Miss Karen&#8217;s stable celebrates victoriously in the ring, as Velvet&#8217;s lifelong dream is over in just 28 days&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Match Rating:</strong> 3/5</p>
<p>Also on the show, Check out Sarita and Toxxin in a six person mixed tag team match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles:</p>
<p><center><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xmbocb"></iframe><br />
<em>Skip to 11:14</em></center></p>
<p>As Jesse Neal and Hernandez crawl to their respected corners, they reach and FINALLY tag in Toxxin and Sarita! Toxxin ducks a running clothesline and nails one of her own. Elbow follows up, with a nice step up enziguiri. Sarita is nearly sent into the ropes, but she reverses it and sends Toxxin flying. Sarita goes for a dropkick, but Toxxin holds onto the ropes and Sarita crashes the mat below. Toxxin does some nifty lifty move to get Sarita to two feet, and then drops her with another clothesline! Toxxin puts Sarita in place and nails a sick flip front face slam for a near fall until Hernandez breaks it up. </p>
<p>Ink, Inc. then interfere, as Shannon Moore take care of Hernandez, and Jesse Neal and Toxxin handle Anarchia in the ring. They hit a nice handspring bulldog double team move on him, before pantsing him for the world to see. Back inside the ring, Rosita steps onto the apron but Toxxin stops her from executing any type of maneuver behind her back. This distraction provides enough time for Sarita to drill Toxxin with the title belt though, as she then covers and retains the titles for her team!</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> First of all, congratulations to Gail Kim on her title victory! Now, onto the unfortunate stuff&#8230; Well, I&#8217;m sure a lot will be said about this situation. I&#8217;m disappointed that TNA continue to provide us with these month long title reigns in which the champion hardly even appears on TV during them. First Winter, then Mickie, then Winter again, and now Velvet. I don&#8217;t fault Gail in the situation because it&#8217;s what&#8217;s written, but I think Velvet really could have used the win here to help build her credibility. We all thought she would be the champion to break this game of hot potato with the belt, but who knows what will happen now? For the sake of the title, please Gail Kim, hold onto it for dear life!</p>
<p>Onto the six person tag, it was really enjoyable overall, but I&#8217;ll just focus on the Knockouts parts here. Sarita and Toxxin worked extremely well together. I hope we get to see them face off in a singles match in the near future because everything they did last night was perfect. I wasn&#8217;t a fan of the title belt ending, but I can overlook it due to how great all their other moves looked. I hope this leads to Toxxin helping Ink, Inc. capture the Tag Team Titles, but more-so, I just hope she continues to be given a shot to wrestle on the show because it&#8217;d be criminal to not use her talents.</p>

<p>Within a month of returning to TNA, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> now simultaneously holds all the gold in the Knockouts division.</p>
<p>In a match against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> tonight, Gail won the Knockouts Championship tonight at TNA&#8217;s Turning Point pay per view with the help of Knockouts VP, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarret">Karen Jarrett</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a>.</p>
<p>Gail, who was the first ever Knockouts Champion in 2007, is now a two-time Knockouts Champion.</p>
<p><b>Thoughts:</b> While I&#8217;m happy for Gail, I&#8217;m very disappointed in TNA giving Velvet such a short title reign when she has all the tools to be a great babyface champion. All of the short title reigns in recent months have been ridiculous. </p>

<p>Returning Knockout <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/gail-kim">Gail Kim</a> challenges <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> for the Knockouts Championship tonight at Turning Point. Who will win? The Diva Dirt team weigh in&#8230;</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> This is a tough one to call. It could really go either way and I&#8217;m personally a fan of both women involved. I could easily see Gail taking the title to give Miss Karen&#8217;s group all the glory, and we know from past experience that TNA is no stranger to short Knockout title reigns. The one thing that stops me from believing Velvet will lose just yet is that TNA seem to take a lot of pride in her being the champion, what with the video packages and all. I&#8217;d love to see Gail get the Knockouts Title again, but for tonight&#8217;s event, I&#8217;m seeing <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> retain, perhaps with a little help from Aunt Traci.</p>
<p><u>Erin:</u> Gail has been pushed to the moon in her short time back with TNA, but I can&#8217;t imagine them pushing her <i>this</i> far so early. She&#8217;s got one title around her waist already, so unless they&#8217;re aiming for a Gail-centric division (which wouldn&#8217;t be entirely unrealistic), I think they&#8217;re more likely using this match as a way to add a bit more legitimacy to Velvet Sky&#8217;s title reign. Beating Gail, someone who has been largely untouchable since her return, would help make her look like a powerful champion and give her a victory against team Karen. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> wins and retains her the Knockouts Title.</p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> My vote goes to <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong>. Not only does she deserve a lengthy reign, a victory over Gail would solidify her as a fighting champion. Already one half of the tag team champions, the strongly-booked Gail Kim doesn&#8217;t need the win. </p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> I think tonight is the end-game for weeks of build for Gail Kim upon her return. While fans have been complaining that she&#8217;s been pushed to the moon since coming back, I think it was part of a bigger picture and to serve a higher purpose and that is to put over Velvet Sky tonight at Turning Point and solidify her Knockouts Title reign. Gail has been extremely hot since her comeback, aligning herself with the Knockouts VP and becoming one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. I believe that build is all leading up to her taking her first loss tonight against Velvet, which will really help get Velvet&#8217;s title reign off to a good start as she will have picked off such a talent who&#8217;s been on such a high lately. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> wins.</p>
<p><b>Who do you think will win tonight?</b></p>

<p>Interesting match up set for Turning Point on November 13th: <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/toxxin">Toxxin</a> (no longer spelt Toxine, apparently) will be part of a six person tag team match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships.</p>
<p>Sarita will team with Mexican America&#8217;s Hernandez and Anarquia against Ink, Inc., the team of Jesse Neal, Shannon Moore and the fiery new Knockout.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m assuming that if Sarita pins Toxxin, or vice versa, their male tag team partners will win the Tag Team Championships.</p>
<p>Also on the card is returning Knockout, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/10/28/gail-kim-vs-velvet-sky-at-tna-turning-point-ppv/">Gail Kim vs Velvet Sky</a>.</p>

<p>Welcome everybody to the Bound for Glory review! It is I, Bobby, your normal bringer of FCW and NXT greatness here to recap what happened at the pay-per-view. On top of the scheduled fatal four-way for the Knockouts Championship between <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a>, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a>, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a>, and reigning champion, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> (along with <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a> in her corner), we also had a tag match featuring the managerial services of <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a>, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/rosita">Rosita</a>, and new Knockout Toxine (<a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/toxxin">Christina Von Eerie</a>).</p>
<p>For the full scoop, head on down below!</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xlqqx1"></iframe></p>
<p>We first head backstage where <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/traci-brooks">Traci Brooks</a> can be seen taking a picture with Miss <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarret">Karen</a>&#8216;s children. (Yes, Madison Rayne is rubbing off on me with the Miss Karen ordeal.) Traci makes sure that the picture came out well, as Miss Karen enters the room with a look that, if could kill, would see everyone imaginable pushing up daisies. Nonetheless, our Knockouts VP puts on a smiling face with her children present, as she sends the little kiddies out of the room to have a grown up conversation with Aunt Traci.</p>
<p>Traci attempts to pass a compliment to the children, but Miss Karen cuts her off and warns her to never go near her kids again. She questions why Traci has not listened to her to put those things on her chest away, citing that they don&#8217;t need to confuse Kody anymore than he already is. She tells Aunt Traci that she has a little surprise, in that she has brought something special to wear on this huge night. Miss Karen then steps to the side of the room and reaches into the closet to pull out a skimpy referee uniform.</p>
<p>Aunt Traci asks if Miss Karen is kidding herself, as the VP questions if Traci thought she was going to let those four prostitutes run around the ring unsupervised! Traci demands Karen let the girls have a normal ref, but Miss Karen claims that she&#8217;s the best damn referee for this match. She warns Brooks that she is to not come near the ring unless Miss Karen is in harm&#8217;s way. She makes sure Traci understands her clearly, before beckoning Jeremy Borash to follow her and help her get ready.</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xlqq50"></iframe></p>
<p>Up next, we have the big Knockouts fatal four-way match to determine who will leave Philadelphia with the title around their waist! Mike Tenay and Tazz run down a tale of the tape to hype the match up, as Velvet Sky then makes her way out to the ring to a pretty large reaction! Next we have the Killlllerrrrr Queeennnnnn, Madison Rayne, sporting a camouflage get up to show her support to the armed forces. With her patented wave shining brightly during her entrance, she makes her way into the ring next to her arch rival, Velvet Sky. &#8220;HAAARDCORREEEEE COUNTRYYYYYY&#8221; blares across the speaker system, as Gangster MJ makes her way to the ring. Rocking our worlds with a thrillbilly sound indeed! Just then, the chimes of the devilish, haunting &#8220;Hands of the Wicked&#8221; plays, as Angelina Love and Winter make their way to the ring, Knockouts Title in tact. Once Winter climbs into the ring, our special guest referee, MISS KAREN, makes her way out. She flaunts to the fans, as Madison Rayne meets her half way with a hug, followed by handing off her trademarked tiara to our referee.</p>
<p>Miss Karen holds the Knockouts Title upside down, but that&#8217;s fine because, well, after all it is Karen Jarrett and she can do no wrong. Winter and Mickie start things off as they lock up and Mickie rolls Winter up. Miss Karen chooses not to count though, and Winter takes control with an armbar. Miss Karen begins slowly counting, as Mickie reels in pain. MJ with a cartwheel &#8212; one armed, mind you &#8212; but Winter slams her down to the mat. Madison screams for the two legal women to not hurt Miss Karen, as Winter slams Mickie into the corner repeatedly. </p>
<p>Mickie fights back, hitting a Mick-A-Rana, followed up with a neckbreaker! Winter slides out of the ring and tries to fend away the two crowd-pleasing women, as Madison Rayne steps up and shoos her hand in Mickie&#8217;s face. Mickie takes control and sends Madison into the ropes, but Rayne slams her down by the hair and takes a bow to large boos. Mickie then erupts with a Thesz press out of nowhere, followed by an assortment of punches. She goes after Madison in the ropes, but Rayne elbows her in the face and tosses her outside the ring.</p>
<p>Velvet steps into the ring behind Madison and takes control with a couple of jaw breakers, followed up with a bulldog! She hooks the leg, but Miss Karen notices that her shoe is untied&#8230; Madison slams Velvet down and Miss Karen runs over to count, but Winter breaks the pin up. Winter and Madison begin arguing, but Miss Karen directs them to tag Mickie and Velvet in so they can fight one another. They do as she orders, as Velvet and Mickie shake hands and look to put on a competitive match. </p>
<p>They lock up as Velvet rolls her up to&#8230; no count by Miss Karen. Mickie with a jack-knife cover, but again, to no avail. Miss Karen laughs at the two, as they again lock up, and Mickie takes control with a head lock. Velvet sends Mickie into the ropes, but Mickie with a shoulder tackle. She runs off the ropes, and Velvet slides over to trip her up, only James cartwheels out and lands a beautiful snap mare. She runs forward with a dropkick to the face, before slapping Madison off the ring apron for good measure. Velvet then takes control with chops and kicks. Velvet goes to shoot Mickie off into the ropes, but Mickie reverses. Velvet comes back with a multiple revolution headscissors takedown that sends Mickie down.</p>
<p>Velvet takes Winter off the apron, as she and Mickie then exchange punches inside the ring. They get the crowd riled up, as both women go to run along the ropes. Winter and Madison each pull a member to the outside after tripping them up, as all four now return to the ring. Mickie and Velvet go crazy on Winter and Velvet, as Miss Karen threatens to throw Mickie&#8217;s ass out. Winter throws Velvet outside the ring, as Mickie does the same to Madison. Winter then goes for her Catatonic backbreaker, but Mickie reverses out of it and sends Winter to the corner.</p>
<p>Mickie gangs up on Winter in the corner, as Miss Karen tries to break her up. Out of nowhere, Angelina Love slides Winter something that she then proceeds to put into her mouth. Mickie returns her focus to the scary champion, and Winter looks to spray her bloody mist into MJ&#8217;s eyes for a third time&#8230; but mama taught Mickie well and she ducks out of the way. instead the mist nails MISS KAREN! Miss Karen rolls around in pain, as what I can only assume to be tears fall from Madison Rayne&#8217;s eyes as she looks on in horror. Mickie James capitalizes and drills the champion with her patented Mickie-DT, but with no referee, there is no victory.</p>
<p>Aunt Traci then runs out to the ring, now that Miss Karen is in harm&#8217;s way. Madison Rayne throws Mickie outside the ring and drags Velvet inside. Velvet stops whatever Rayne had planned and drops her with a sick double under-hook facebuster! Hook of the leg beckons Aunt Traci to count&#8230;</p>
<p>ONE&#8230;</p>
<p>TWO&#8230;</p>
<p>THREE!</p>
<p>Velvet Sky is the new TNA Knockouts Champion! The two ladies celebrate inside the ring as Winter and Angelina look on in horror at what has transpired&#8230; and well, Miss Karen can&#8217;t even look at anything. Madison Rayne aids the Knockouts VP out of the ring, as Velvet ushers in the Era of Sky and celebrates in front of the live crowd with Traci.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> What a night! A lot transpired involving the females in TNA, but to focus on the match, I thought it was fun. The addition of Karen kinda stopped a lot of high risk maneuvers from happening, but there was a large story told, and it helped the crowd to get even more behind Mickie and Velvet. I thought they built to Velvet&#8217;s win perfectly with Traci running down to crown her the champion, because in a sense it would have been kinda odd to see Mickie celebrate with her after being in the match herself. TNA does seem to be getting better with their Knockouts, and I just hope Velvet Sky has a lengthy reign because she deserves it.</p>
<p><strong>Match Rating:</strong> 3.5/5</p>
<p>Also at Bound for Glory&#8230;</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xlqg0k"></iframe></p>
<p>As Ink Inc. and Mexican America do battle for the TNA World Tag Team Titles, all hell broke loose with the men outside the ring. Sarita and Rosita then step into the squared circle, as the duo look to have something up their sleeve. They run off the ropes, but out of nowhere, new Knockout, Toxine DRILLS Rosita with a sick spear. Sarita spins Toxine around and goes for a fist, but the mohawked beauty ducks and drills Sarita with a headbutt. Toxine then proceeds to rip Sarita&#8217;s mask off, as she then hits a backbreaker/facebuster combination! Anarquia steps into the ring, but Toxine rakes him along the eyes and pantses him, leading to Ink Inc. taking control, only for Mexican America to emerge victorious in the end.</p>

In a four-way match for the Knockouts Title, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a> overcame the odds (not the least of which was <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarrett">Karen Jarrett</a> serving as the guest referee), winning the match and earning her first-ever reign as Knockouts Champ.</p>
<p>The match saw Velvet competing against the likes of <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Madison Rayne</a>, <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>, and the whole thing went off-track when <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a> slipped a eye-stinging mist to Winter, who proceeded to accidently spit it in Karen&#8217;s face. This brought out <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/tag/traci-brooks">Traci Brooks</a>, who was banned from ringside unless something befell Karen. With Karen down, Traci assumed the role of referee and counted the pin when Velvet pinned Madison, winning her the match and the Knockouts Title.</p>

<p>The Knockouts Championship is on the line between <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a>, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>. Who&#8217;ll win the title? The Diva Dirt team weigh in&#8230;</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> While I wouldn&#8217;t have minded if Winter lost the title had Mickie&#8217;s odd two week reign never happened, I&#8217;ve come to terms with the fact the hot potato games will likely continue tonight. It&#8217;s the popular vote that Velvet Sky will win, although just for the sake of myself, I&#8217;m on Team <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong> tonight.</p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> As much as I like Winter holding the title, I like idea of <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> being champion even more. She&#8217;s paid her dues, improved a ton, and now it&#8217;s time to give her the ball and let her roll with it. No one else should win this match. Good luck, Vel Vel!</p>
<p><u>Erin:</u> Velvet&#8217;s been getting most of the spotlight in the run-up to this match, being the main focus of Karen&#8217;s ire, so unless they&#8217;re building some feud between those two outside the bounds of the wrestling ring, I think they&#8217;re setting up for a Champ vs. VP scenario, which could be interesting. Like many have said, it almost feels like Velvet&#8217;s due for a title win, so I can kind of feel that they&#8217;re prepping for it with this her having problems with Karen, practically eclipsing the rest of the Knockouts in this match in the process. I say <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> wins the match and the Knockouts Title.</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> Velvet has the most support behind her in terms of how things have been booked on TV over the past few weeks, and she has a lot of fan support too. It seems like people want to see Velvet as Knockouts Champion. Could TNA finally pull the trigger? Sadly, Winter has become an afterthought as champion and she&#8217;ll likely spin off into a secondary feud with Angelina while Velvet feuds with Madison Rayne and Karen Jarrett over the title. I say Angelina inadvertently costs Winter the belt and <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Velvet Sky</span></strong> wins. </p>
<p><b>Who do you think will win tonight?</b></p>

<p>Following the final &#8220;Queen&#8217;s Qualifier&#8221; match last night on Impact Wrestling, the four-way Knockouts Championship match is now set in stone for October&#8217;s Bound for Glory pay per view.</p>
<p>Champion <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> will defend against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/velvet-sky">Velvet Sky</a>, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/madison-rayne">Madison Rayne</a> on October 16th.</p>
<p>In recent weeks, six Knockouts have competed for the chance to challenge Winter in matches set up by Knockouts VP, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/karen-jarret">Karen Jarrett</a>. Velvet defeated <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>, Mickie beat <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/brooke-tessmacher">Brooke Tessmacher</a> and just last night, Rayne went over <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a> to advance into the pay per view match.</p>
<p>Interestingly, in a similar four-way match at last year&#8217;s Bound for Glory, the championship changed hands. Will history strike again?</p>

<p>This past Sunday&#8217;s No Surrender pay per view saw yet another Knockouts Championship switch, the third in the past month to be precise.</p>
<p>To recap this epic saga so far: <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> lost the Knockouts Title to <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> at Hardcore Justice last month, but regained it just two weeks ago on the September 1st episode of Impact. Then, this Sunday, it would be the rubber match &#8212; Mickie vs Winter once again for the belt. Let&#8217;s watch&#8230;</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xl1mj6?width=580"></iframe></p>
<p>Say what you will about TNA, and I for one am not impressed with the way the Knockouts Title has been flip-flopped over the past month, but the video packages that they create for the Knockouts matches are great. We don&#8217;t see those &#8216;big match&#8217;-feel video packages for the Divas, sadly, but I think TNA impresses in that department. Another good video package to kick off this segment.</p>
<p>The challenger is out first with a determined look on her face, and as April calls her, she&#8217;s also brought along her &#8216;lady love&#8217; <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>. However, because I am not April, I will call Angelina Winter&#8217;s &#8216;main squeeze&#8217;.</p>
<p>Next out is the champion doing her patriotic duty &#8212; or is she? Mickie is out in a Wonder Woman outfit and I guess the colors correlate to the colors of the USA flag too being 9/11 and all. It&#8217;s Halloween and July the 4th rolled into one!</p>
<p>Winter wastes little time to get her licks in as she interrupts Mickie&#8217;s signature top rope pose. However, Mickie manages to fend her off with a kick as the bell officially rings. Mickie follows through with a dropkick that <em>just</em> connects. However, before she can follow through on her momentum, Winter manages to flee her from the ring, right in the line of fire from her main squeeze, A-Love. The current and former champion exchange blows on the outside and it is Mickie who gets the better of the exchange but Winter isn&#8217;t far behind, attacking her. Winter tries to whip James into the steps but Mickie reverses, leading to Winter eating steel. What Winter doesn&#8217;t realise is that this meal is a buy one get one free, as she then eats the steel guardrail. Enjoy your twofer, Winty!</p>
<p>James rolls Winter back into the ring where the challenger rakes her eyes out of desperation. Winter now has the upper-hand over the champion, but Mickie eventually mounts a comeback with an elbow shot and her patented headscissors out of the corner. Mickie hits the ropes but Angelina trips her up &#8212; that wench! &#8212; but she gets her just desserts, as Mickie hits a nice dropkick-type move through the ropes. </p>
<p>However, with James distracted by Love, Winter seizes her opportunity with a kick across the back which sends Mickie to the mat as Winter taunts her. Nice snap suplex to follow up. Pin attempt but no three.</p>
<p>Winter with a submission move which Mickie slowly works her way out of, however she gets taken right back down to the mat by a clothesline. Winter in control again, choking her over the middle rope. The referee breaks up the hold at a five count which leads to Winter distracting the referee with an argument as Love chokes her some more. Winter goes for another pin attempt but James kicks out.</p>
<p>Winter with a backbreaker over the knee, and then holds the position, applying pressure to Mickie&#8217;s back. Mickie breaks out of the move with a knee to the head. </p>
<p>Winter picks up Mickie again for another backbreaker, this time of the spinning variation. Mickie tries to fight out of it with elbows but Winter manages to hit the move. Winter follows up with a sleeper hold but MJ reaches the ropes. Winter argues with the referee which allows Mickie to regain composure and blindside her with a jackknife pin, but the challenger manages to kick out.</p>
<p>Mickie then executes a neckbreaker, sending Winter down to the mat. James, still worn down from the earlier attacks, is unable to make the cover and both women lay on the mat. The referee begins a double countout as both women rise to their feet. An exchange of forearm shots ensues. Mickie begins building momentum, taking down Winter with axehandles and a flapjack before showing off her athleticism with a kip up. Angelina tries to interfere from the outside causing Mickie to turn her back to Winter who is creeping up on her. However, the champion has her opponent well scouted and hits her with a nice spin kick. Mickie goes for the pin but Winter manages to grab the ropes. </p>
<p>Mickie grabs the challenger by her hair, but Winter breaks free of the champ&#8217;s clutches and goes for an enzugiri but James dodges the bullet. Mickie with a single-leg Boston crab now, but Winter reaches the ropes.</p>
<p>As we draw nearer to the end, there&#8217;s a whole lotta sh*t going on. (This is TNA, after all.) First, Angelina tries to hand Winter the Knockouts Title to use as a weapon and steal the victory. That fails. Mickie ducks and the referee discovers what Winter is up to and takes the belt from her.</p>
<p>Mickie then rolls up Winter with a bridging pin, but just when you thought it was over &#8212; Winter kicks out!</p>
<p>The two Knockouts continue fighting and end up backed into the corner where Mickie goes for the Tornado DDT, but Angelina pulls Winter out of the ring. Mickie is having none of this f**kery as she goes up top and hits a Thesz Press to the outside on Winter. </p>
<p>Mickie now turns her attention to Angelina, chasing her up the ramp to the back. However, inside the ring, Earl Hebner begins a 10 count which would disqualify the champion. James heads back into the ring but Angelina has reappeared right behind her. Angelina pins arms back allowing Winter to spit her blood/mist cocktail in the champ&#8217;s eyes but not so fast! Mickie moves out of the way and Angelina gets a face full of red!</p>
<p>Normally, that sort of backfire would lead to the babyface taking advantage of the distraction and winning the match. Except this is TNA. Welcome to Swervesville.</p>
<p>Mickie seemingly has the match won, as she stands poised and ready to hit her finisher as soon as Winter turns around but boy, is she in for a surprise! Winter, as if by magic, has coughed up more of her red concoction (and probably some phlegm, I would assume) and spits it into Mickie&#8217;s face to steal the victory!</p>
<p>Winter is once again the Knockouts Champion. That means both she and Mickie are tied with two Knockouts Title reigns. It&#8217;s like the last few weeks didn&#8217;t happen, right?</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not sure if TNA is trying to pad the stats, or what their logic is with having the title switched twice in as many weeks. I would try to think of a reason but I honestly wouldn&#8217;t care to delve into the creative process of the people who brought us a &#8216;lockbox showdown&#8217;.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m happy to see Winter as champion, but I don&#8217;t think she should have lost the belt in the first place. And if she did have to lose it, it should&#8217;ve stayed on Mickie at this pay per view. </p>
<p>Despite all the distractions thrown to the wall at the end &#8212; an attempt to hit Mickie with the title, Angelina interfering and two mist shots &#8212; I thought the match was really well performed by both Knockouts. I&#8217;ve been very impressed with their past two matches and I think this was a nice third match in the series. I don&#8217;t think it was as good as the first two bouts, but it definitely wasn&#8217;t a letdown either. The match was technically sound, had plenty of time and had a good rhythm. I enjoyed watching it.</p>
<p><b>Match Rating:</b> 4/5</p>
<p><b>What did you think of this match?</b></p>

<p>The championship hot potato continues. <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> regained the Knockouts Championship tonight by defeating <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> just two weeks after losing the belt.</p>
<p>That means Winter is now a two-time Knockouts Champion.</p>
<p>The end of the match saw some miscommunication with Winter and her lover/partner in crime <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>. Angelina tried to hold Mickie down so Winter could spit blood in her eyes, but Mickie moved out of the way leading to Winter spitting blood in Angelina&#8217;s eyes instead.</p>
<p>The distraction seemingly allowed Mickie to take the win &#8212; but wait! Another TNA swerve. Winter had <em>more</em> blood in her mouth, blinding Mickie and taking the win.</p>
<p>Did you get all that?</p>
<p>Right. We&#8217;ll see you in a few weeks for the next rematch/title switch.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://www.diva-dirt.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/nosurrender.png" alt="" title="nosurrender" width="600" height="300" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42941" /></p>
<p>The <em>Diva Dirt</em> team weigh in on tonight&#8217;s No Surrender pay per view matches between <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>. Will Winter regain the belt or will Mickie retain?</p>
<p><u>April:</u> Looking at this feud through a microscope every week, you take on a different perspective. Where I can see why Mickie being the champion works in favor of going against the new VP, I crave change. I am definitely looking for <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong> to win tonight. I love Winter as Knockouts Champion because she&#8217;s different. She brings a new look and aura to the title. She is an incredible talent and I believe she can do amazing things in the Knockouts division, no matter how weird she is. We&#8217;ve seen Mickie as champion and know what she can do. It&#8217;s time to give Winter LeStrange a chance. #teamwicked</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> I&#8217;ll be honest, I haven&#8217;t seen a Knockouts segment or match since the night spoilers came out that Winter lost the title, so my opinion may differ from those who keep up with it. TNA (until recently) did a good job of making the title have lengthy reigns this year, and I have no clue why Winter&#8217;s ended out of nowhere, but I&#8217;m guessing <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> to retain tonight in a solid match. </p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> Still don&#8217;t understand why Mickie was given the title back to begin with, and I doubt they&#8217;d take it off her. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> wins.</p>
<p><u>Erin:</u> Unless they&#8217;re playing ping pong with the Knockouts Championship, I can&#8217;t see Mickie losing it so quickly. Many of us assumed that Winter&#8217;s short reign was a &#8220;tip of the cap&#8221; to her for her work, not meant to be a full-on reign. If that&#8217;s true, it wouldn&#8217;t make much sense for her to win it back, unless our suspicions were wrong and this is a legitimate title consideration for her. The cynic in me says that it was a &#8220;tip of the cap&#8221; and that <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> will retain and most likely move on to another contender.</p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> Still annoyed that they took the title off Winter so quickly. I don&#8217;t at all understand that, so I think <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> will once again retain the championship..</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> I echo everyone else&#8217;s sentiments &#8212; annoyed that the belt was taken off Winter so quickly. It made me totally check out of this feud and I can&#8217;t say I&#8217;m too excited to see a rematch tonight. As much as I&#8217;d love to see Winter as champion, for the sake of the belt, please don&#8217;t have another quick title switch. I say <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> wins.</p>
<p><b>Who do you think will win tonight?</b></p>

<p>Oh boy! That moment is finally here. It&#8217;s Hardcore Justice! Okay. I&#8217;ll turn off the country music superstar and just be plain ole me. Tonight, in an action packed pay-per-view event, we&#8217;ll see two extremely chaotic Knockouts finally tear each other apart for the coveted gold strap. We&#8217;ll also get to see two pairs of Knockouts who have had their fair share of exchanges in recent weeks, one pair battling for the possible chance to regain their precious prizes. I don&#8217;t even know where to begin on this so I am just going to dive right in and hope I don&#8217;t hit my head on the bottom. You with me? Synchronized swimming! Ready! Break!</p>
<p><center><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xkff50?width=560"></iframe></center></p>
<p>The action starts off backstage where Jeremy Borash is standing with the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/miss-tessmacher">Miss Tessmacher</a>. They&#8217;re looking pretty snazzy in their matching black and red, a favorite color combo. Tara is looking fierce as always and well, Tessmacher just goes without saying. They look pumped and ready to go, yet extremely annoyed. JB makes a statement about this match being personal and Tess decides it&#8217;s time to finally speak up. She reminds her opponents of the night they jumped them in the parking lot like a couple of thugs. Why everybody gotta be thugs, huh?! *<em>puts the blade away</em>* Pfft.</p>
<p>Tara, ever so rowdy, says that they proved themselves in the ring and she doesn&#8217;t care of <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/rosita">Rosita</a> bring Hernandez or that freakin&#8217; puppet, they are leave freakin&#8217; champions! Come on, Brooke! Um&#8230;..about that, someone obviously forgot to send Tara the memo. Anyway, I&#8217;ll let that settle and we&#8217;ll skip to the challengers making their way to the ring. They&#8217;re sporting their native colors and well, Sarita looks like a stand-in for a Cannibal movie. I&#8217;m sorry. I know why she&#8217;s wearing the mask but seriously, Abyss called. He really wants it back. You know he gets angry when his belongings go missing. They are accompanied to the ring by Hernandez and the puppet, Anarquia. This could get interesting.</p>
<p><center><strong>RELATED:</strong> <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/08/08/tna-hardcore-justice-results-tara-tessmacher-retain/">TNA Hardcore Justice Results: Tara &#038; Tessmacher Still on Top</a></center></p>
<p>Out last is the team of Taramacher, riding in on the crotch rocket and Tess wastes no time disrobing this evening. She takes it all off before even getting in the ring. You mean, no makeout session?! The audience is heartbroken. And so are Hernandarquia because Earl Hebner just kicked their ass to the back. Obviously, this doesn&#8217;t sit well with little Rosi because she starts taking off those twenty pound earrings, getting all up in Tara&#8217;s grill. She ain&#8217;t scared of you! She ghetto! Hold these, Earl! SLAM! Tara pushes her little feisty ass into the corner like a scolded step-child. The crowd is all over the veteran&#8217;s side and the chants start but the tag to Sarita is made and the tide could turn.</p>
<p><em>Or not</em>.</p>
<p>She bumps up against Tara and off the rebound, gets a back body drop for her efforts. Up by the hair and the tag to Tessmacher. Forearms shots from the bootylicious Knockout, going right after the injured face of Sarita. That doesn&#8217;t last long because Sarita is quick to tag in her cousin but WHACK! Tess takes her down without a breath of hesitation. A wristlock into the corner and Tara is begging for a piece of the little chili pepper. She&#8217;s in, hands around Rosita&#8217;s throat and she just slams her down against the turnbuckles. But a hurricarana from little Rosi and&#8230;*<em>deep breath</em>* I gotta remember to breathe when I write these matches.</p>
<p>Tara is in the corner and Rosita runs in, getting a big boot to the face which knocks her for a fruit loop. Not so much so that she can&#8217;t knock Tara to the outside, giving Sarita ample room to catch her with a running roll drop. Rosita takes to Tessmacher, distracting the referee just long enough for Sarita to roll Tara back in. Rosi, trying to maintain momentum, gets dropped cold with a suplex when Tara rebounds and tags in Tessmacher. Back up with a dropkick and again, another tag to Sarita. Tessmacher is on fire tonight and is oddly impressive. She&#8217;s staying tight&#8230;well, until her back snaps and her face slaps the top turnbuckle. Ouch. I guess this calls for a ping pong tag between the Loco Latinas.</p>
<p>I think Sarita just pulled a triple whipper snapper. I do believe so. Add that assist splash and I&#8217;m seriously starting to get dizzy. All these tags back and forth. It&#8217;s all a blur. Wait! A rollup attempt but it&#8217;s no good! Sarita kicks out and goes for a clothesline but Tess ducks, tagging in her partner. Right hands from Tara to both latinas, finally taking Sarita down with a dropkick. A potential Widow&#8217;s Peak but Rosita tries to interfere, getting dropped by Tessmacher. And now we&#8217;re in a big heap of a mess. All four Knockouts are in the ring and it could get ugly. Point in concept, Rosarita just slammed into one another with an assist from Taramacher. But Hebner easily conducts order and Sarita hits some odd looking, nasty landing double underhook. The impact seems to even knock Sarita back because she doesn&#8217;t go for the pin.</p>
<p>This match is wearing me out. Love it but damn. I&#8217;m not even in the match and I feel beat up. Haha. Regardless, Tara slowly crawls her way over to Tessmacher but Rosita&#8217;s sneaky little ass on the outside drops her to the floor. This leaves Tara vulnerable and Sarita takes advantage with a pin attempt but no! Only the two count but the punishment is over. A tag into Rosita, double team attempt but double arm clothesline from Tara to the latinas. Sarita rolls out and Tara sets little Rosi up for the Widow&#8217;s Peak but she counters into a roll-up. Sarita on the outside with the assist but Tessmacher flies from out of nowhere, breaking it up. This is insane. My attention span has apparently dwindled because all I can do is blink.</p>
<p>A powerslam on Rosita from the fierce veteran but the momentum gets cut off at the quick with boots to the chest. It sends the bigger Knockout down long enough for Rosita to crawl to her corner for a pin but Tessmacher is on a mission. She&#8217;s on the outside and drops Sarita down, out of the way. No tag. No exchange. Tessmacher back up on the apron, making sure no funny business is going on and Tara finally locks in that Widow&#8217;s Peak. <strong>DAMN</strong>! Rosita hits hard and I&#8217;m pretty sure she just died on the inside. A very harsh, violent cover with the hand and knee smashed against the face. 1&#8230;2&#8230;.3! Taramacher retains their Knockouts Tag Team Championships, the perfect accessory to their new attire! It&#8217;s asstastic!</p>
<p><center><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xkffaa?width=560"></iframe></center></p>
<p>And the moment we have all been waiting for&#8230;.the Knockouts Championship match. Oh yes. It&#8217;s been building up for weeks and weeks now and tonight, it will finally come to a head. In a challenge to the champ, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> will be facing off against <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> for the beloved golden strap. Out first, the queen of the wicked herself, Winter accompanied by Angelina Love. Morticia is sporting new duds with a gypsy/belly dancer feel and she looks fabulous, aside from that fur shrug. Angelina, on the other hand, looks just like its any other night. No fierce new outfit? Come on now. <strong>HARDCORE COUNTRY</strong>! The defending champion knows how to change it up and bounds out, sporting new attire and new hair. This is definitely something I can support. Love that caramel/blonde mix-up on Mickie and the gingham is actually really cute. Way to go, girl.</p>
<p>Mickie looks ready to do this, regardless of the slight reluctance at Angelina at ringside. The duo of the dark side look to start their antics early, Angelina with the distraction. She holds the belt up and taunts Mickie while Winter sneaks in for the roll-up. Almost but it doesn&#8217;t count. If it isn&#8217;t three, it isn&#8217;t enough. But Winter reminds her how close it was, seeking refuge outside the ropes. However, when she comes back in, Mickie is on her, locking her into some weird submission. She contorts Winter&#8217;s leg, putting a boot between her shoulder blades and even pulling a little hair in the process. That costs her the hold and Winter crawls to the apron, giving Mickie a boot when she comes after her.</p>
<p><center><strong>RELATED:</strong> <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/08/08/tna-hardcore-justice-results-winter-wins-knockouts-championship/">TNA Hardcore Justice Results: Winter Wins Knockouts Championship</a></center></p>
<p>Cue the awkward moment when you think you&#8217;ve got your opponent around the waist and then they do-si-do, heel toe and you end up in the corner.</p>
<p>Mickie bounces Winter back by holding tight on the turnbuckles but the dweller of darkness comes back, getting a pair of legs around the throat. A slip-up, slide-in pin attempt and no! A clap to the head and it&#8217;s broken up. But Mickie isn&#8217;t giving up and she sticks to Winter like glue, keeping her from escaping to the outside. Right forearm shots to the jaw and the champ looks to put a little hurtin&#8217; on her opponent. However, Angelina Love has other plans. For some reason, she sees fit to get on the apron and talk a little trash, then jump down when the heat comes her way. Okay. I get it. Classic move of distraction, giving Winter the chance to sneak in but you&#8217;re kinda knocking your credibility. You could have at least dropped her across the ropes while Hebner wasn&#8217;t looking. Just saying.</p>
<p>Regardless of my opinion, Angelina steps back and when Mickie turns around, Winter is on her like nightfall. A club to the back and a slam attempt but Mickie fights back! A low dropkick and rebound sliding dropkick, into the pin attempt but it&#8217;s no good. Winter, like a cat, rolls to the outside to regroup and strategize with Angelina. Mickie is oh so kind and invites her back but it is disrespectfully declined. In true fashion, the cat and mouse game ensues and Mickie eventually steps outside the ring, chasing Winter around. We see Angelina crouched in position but when she goes for the clothesline, the champ ducks out of the way and nails her with a hard elbow. And what does she get in return? She gets a huge bite of the metal ringpost. Hope you&#8217;re hungry, Mickie.</p>
<p>Unceremoniously, Winter picks Mickie up and tosses her off the barricade, dropping her to the cement floor. It takes Miss James a minute to gather herself, obviously feeling the harsh reality of hitting that surface. Meanwhile, Winter is in the ring, down in an Elvis style pose to help the official start the count-out. But Mickie fights hard and eventually works her way back over the barricade, still down on all fours. So what does Angelina do? Gives her a nice swift kick to the midsection, of course! Nothing like seizing the moment, right? Winter, playing smart, is quick to go out and grab Mickie, rolling her back into the ring. Angelina, on the outside, skips off like Little Bo Peep only..not. Why did you skip? I mean, yeah&#8230;there are no words.</p>
<p>Into the back arm stretch from Winter and Mickie is not having it. She comes back with elbows and flips Winter over, going for that jacknife pinning bridge but no! Not even a two. Sticking to harsh tactics, Winter goes for the choke and then leads into a dropping backbreaker stretch. There&#8217;s hair pulling, knees to the face and major boos from the crowd. What the hell you jeering for? Shame on you. Into the corner the ladies go, Winter using her boots against Mickie&#8217;s throat and Mickie using her boots to crack Winter down. Insert a rolling headscissors and Mickie is feeling the momentum now. A faceplant on Winter with a kip-up, heading to the top rope. A nice thesz press from up high but there is no pin attempt this time and that could be a major mistake. While Winter is down on the mat, she distracts the referee and Angelina sneaks her little ass into the ring. BAM! She drops the champ with that knee drop backbreaker, or as Mike Tenay calls it &#8220;Break-a-Bitch&#8221;. I died. I seriously choked for a moment. I can&#8217;t.</p>
<p>But I must because this match is still going on. Multiple shoulders and stomps to the midsection in the corner and the official pulls Winter out but she goes back in, sitting Mickie on the top rope. But that gives her just enough of a window to fight back and <strong>WHAM</strong>! nail that tornado DDT. However, it doesn&#8217;t work in her favor because Winter&#8217;s momentum carried her to the outside, leaving no room for a pin. Dammit! Here comes that pesky Angelina again, trying to break a bitch. Always trying to break shit. But Mick ain&#8217;t having it this time and drops her with a neckbreaker, pushing her back to the outside. Immediately, her focus goes to Winter and she rolls her opponent back into the ring, trying to finish this thing off. And, of course, there&#8217;s Angelina again. Someone call the police because we need a restraining order against this one.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT THE **CENSORED**!?!</strong></p>
<p>Did Winter just spit red shit in Mickie&#8217;s face?! Someone call MsChif/Tajiri/Kool-Aid Man! We got a gimmick infringement on our hands! Quick to seize the chance, Winter goes for the sneak pin, covering Mickie&#8217;s face and Hebner counts the three. We have a <em>NEW </em>Knockouts Champion, who has this creeped out look on her face. I swear, it&#8217;s like she drank a glass of evil Kool-Aid. And Mickie looks like her face is bleeding in places we didn&#8217;t know existed, screaming that she can&#8217;t see and just completely freaking out. She can&#8217;t see and when the trainers run down, he asks her where it is. Um..that would be in her eyes. You know, those round things in her eye sockets <em>THAT HELP HER SEE</em>! All the while, Angelina and Winter are celebrating like they just won the lottery, short of nothing but balloons. Regardless of blind spots, we have a new Knockouts Champion in Impact Wrestling and you had better believe this changes things quite a bit.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts</strong>: I was very impressed with the action at pay-per-view. Very solid matches from all Knockouts involved. I am happy to see a new Knockouts Champion in Winter. I think she has major potential and where I didn&#8217;t think she would win, given Mickie&#8217;s fighting side, I am intrigued to see her pull it out. I&#8217;m curious to see where she&#8217;ll take it from here. I am also curious to see if Mickie will ever get her sight back. She&#8217;s clearly blinded from the jello mixture that Winter spit in her face so we&#8217;ll find out soon, I&#8217;m sure. As for the tag team match, I think Taramacher are really developing into a hell of a team. Tara is a great point of reference for Tessmacher and I&#8217;m glad to see them working together so well. It also seems like Rosita is coming along a bit better in the ring as well. Glad to see that Sarita&#8217;s current medical condition isn&#8217;t stopping her. Anyway, all-around great night from the Knockouts. Major congratulations to Winter, who came off with the hugely deserved win. Double champion! Hey hey! Until Impact, my lovies! xoxox</p>
<p><strong>Rating</strong>: 4/5 stars</p>

<p>TNA has crowned its first ever British Knockouts Champion in <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>.</p>
<p>The former Katie Lea defeated <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> to become the Knockouts Champion after a match filled with shenanigans from Winter and her cohort, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>.</p>
<p>Several times, Angelina attempted to interfere in the match and cost Mickie the win. Against all odds, Mickie perservered and seemingly had the match won after hitting a Tornado DDT on Winter from the corner and taking out Angelina.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>RELATED:</strong> <a title="Permanent Link to TNA Hardcore Justice Results: Tara &amp; Tessmacher Still on Top" href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/08/08/tna-hardcore-justice-results-tara-tessmacher-retain/" rel="bookmark">TNA Hardcore Justice Results: Tara &amp; Tessmacher Still on Top</a></p>
<p>However, she couldn&#8217;t foresee that the mystical Knockout Winter would spit some sort of red mist in her face &#8216;blinding&#8217; her to steal the win.</p>
<p>After the match, an emotional Winter celebrated as Mickie writhed in pain, needing medical assistance.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> This was another good Knockouts match tonight and the outcome is almost like a fairytale ending for Winter. Never getting the break she deserved in WWE, Winter came to TNA and rose to the top of the division and is now the Knockouts Champion. Not to mention, she makes history as the first ever British Knockouts Champion. After a rocky road, Winter gets her much deserved title reign. Congratulations to her!</p>
<p>Earlier this week, Winter was also <a href="http://www.diva-dirt.com/2011/08/05/winter-becomes-the-new-wild-world-champion/">crowned</a> the new WILD Champion thus becoming a double-champion in the span of four days.</p>

<p>Knockouts Tag Team Champions, <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/ms-tessmacher">Miss Tessmacher</a>, are still the Knockouts to beat after defeating <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/rosita">Rosita</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a> to retain their Tag Team Championships tonight at Hardcore Justice.</p>
<p>Following a fun tag team match that saw all four Knockouts shine, Tara picked up the win for her team with a Widow&#8217;s Peak on Rosita.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts:</strong> This was about 6-8 minutes and was a much better match than their initial match on Impact a couple of weeks ago. A lot of fun spots and the crowd was very into it which helped. One thing that must be pointed out is Tessmacher&#8217;s improvement in the ring. She really shined tonight.</p>

<p>The <em>Diva Dirt</em> team weigh in on tonight&#8217;s Hardcore Justice pay per view matches between <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a>, as well as <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/sarita">Sarita</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/rosita">Rosita</a> vs <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/tara">Tara</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/ms-tessmacher">Ms Tessmacher</a>.</p>
<h4>Mickie James vs Winter (Knockouts Championship)</h4>
<p><u>April:</u> For the Knockouts Championship match, I am going to have to go with my gut and say that <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> is going to pull out the win in this one. She&#8217;s a strong champion and I don&#8217;t see her going down without a fight. I know the numbers game will come into play but I don&#8217;t see Winter walking out with that title. I think she could be champion one day but not tonight.</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> I&#8217;ll start off with perhaps the most important match I will ever see in TNA, Mickie James vs. Winter. It&#8217;s no secret Winter is my favorite female in wrestling and being I never got to see her hold a title in WWE, I&#8217;m pretty much going into this saying my nightly prayers for a new champion. Nothing against Mickie as I think she&#8217;s really done well in TNA, but I could never and will never side against Winter in a Championship match. I say <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong> takes the victory, we get our first British Knockouts Champion, and I celebrate by downing mountain dews all night being I&#8217;m not at the legal drinking age. </p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> Hmmm Mickie or Winter? Well, this summer is so hot down hurr in good ole L.A., and by L.A. I totally mean Lower Alabama, and honestly the scorching hot, insanely humid, and ridiculous temperatures make me yearn for our winters. Boy do I lust for 60 degree weather! Because summer sucks this year and I think it&#8217;s stupid that Mickie wants a fan to pay for her next album (seriously??), I&#8217;m going for <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong>! You go girl. Double champ? Make it happen.</p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> Winter is on a roll, not only in TNA, but in wrestling in general. After winning WILD Wrestling&#8217;s championship the other day, I also pick <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong> to walk out of Hardcore Justice as the new TNA Knockouts Champion and finish the week a double-champion.</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> In my opinion, this one could go either way. I could see Mickie retaining and I could see Winter winning. Winter has really come into her own since joining TNA and proven to be a great addition to the Knockouts roster. Her character is unique and stands out compared to her character in WWE. I would love to see her finally get an opportunity to be champion. Not to mention she&#8217;d be the first British Knockouts Champ! Again, could go either way but I think I&#8217;m going to lean towards <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Winter</span></strong> winning the strap.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.diva-dirt.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/hardcorejustice_tag.jpg" alt="" title="hardcorejustice_tag" width="600" height="338" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-41625" /></p>
<h4>Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher vs Rosita &#038; Sarita (Knockouts Tag Team Championship)</h4>
<p><u>April:</u> I look for <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher</span></strong> to retain. This will be Rosarita&#8217;s return match after losing and let&#8217;s face it, it&#8217;s rare for that comeback win. I think Taramacher have a unique dynamic and obvious chemistry. Tara is a great teacher and Tessmacher is an eager student. I think they may just keep running here, at least for a little while longer.</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> I don&#8217;t really have much to say. This is Sarita and Rosita&#8217;s rematch clause and it&#8217;s nice to see the belts get a slot on a pay per view. I don&#8217;t see the cousins taking the belts back, but weirder things have happened in TNA before. Nonetheless, <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher</span></strong> retain the titles after the Stra-tess-faction/powerbomb combo.</p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> I think it&#8217;s about as predictable as an Alabama loss in the Iron Bowl this year. Oh yes. War Eagle, baby. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher</span></strong> will win this match because they&#8217;ve barely gotten a chance to wet their feet as champs. That said, Rosita remains my favorite Knockout (along with Velvet.) That&#8217;s all! </p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> I see babyfaces <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher</span></strong> retaining their titles over Sarita and Rosita.</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> Not much to say here. It looks like this match was just added at the last minute to fill some time. Wouldn&#8217;t expect anything dramatic like a title change. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Tara &#038; Miss Tessmacher</span></strong> will win.</p>

<p>Oh buddy. We knew this was coming but were we really prepared for it? It did kind of come out of nowhere and I honestly thought it would be Morticia going for the title but it&#8217;s not. It is her creation, the blonde monster, going after the champion. She&#8217;s a former five time Knockouts Champion and has done more than her fair share of dominating the female division in Impact Wrestling. I am very curious to see what happens when two people, from opposite sides of the tracks, clash together. The suspense is killing me. So let&#8217;s hit play on this bad boy!</p>
<p><center><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xj9ju9?width=580"></iframe></center></p>
<p>We start things off backstage where Jeremy Borash is standing with <a href="<a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/winter">Winter</a> and <a href="<a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>. JB states that Winter is about to lead Angelina into battle against the champion. Winter, creepy as ever, tells JB that he is standing too close to her minion and she doesn&#8217;t like it. So she pushes him back a few steps and tells Angelina that now that they are together, truly together, they are one step closer to their final destiny. When Angelina, looking like she&#8217;s finally crossed back over to the land of the living, takes that championship then they will be one step closer. She&#8217;s ready now. Winter knows she is ready now, but first, she must take her medicine. However, like a spoiled child, Angelina refuses the medication and tells her mistress that she doesn&#8217;t need it anymore. It took her awhile but she gets it now, they&#8217;re on the same page. Then she simply walks away, while Winter looks like she&#8217;s won the lottery. I want Angelina&#8217;s outfit. How hot is that?! And I do apologize for lack of video on the backstage segment. Blame bad quality but hey, the match is the important part.</p>
<p>Out to the stage first is the challenger, Angelina Love with Winter in tow. They stop to gaze around the arena and caress each other in whatever awkward, adoring way they do. Quick to make her way to the ring, Angelina creeps in and in something we haven&#8217;t seen in some time, goes to the corner. She stands up and holds up six fingers to show that she is going for her sixth Knockouts Championship. A record for the company, according to commentary. <strong>HARDCORE COUNTRY</strong>! The champion, <a href="<a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> is out last and she doesn&#8217;t look as happy as she normally would. I suppose being choked out this past Thursday could put a damper on a good mood. I do have to ask..what the hell is with that hair, Mick? True to your style, I suppose but yeah, no.</p>
<p>The match begins, after a lingering look at the special time keeper and finally, the ladies circle each other. A rough lock up and Angelina comes out with the upperhand, tossing Mickie around the ring like a ragdoll. But Mickie is never one to back down and she comes back with a hair grab of her own, but Angelina just overpowers her like she&#8217;s nothing. For a minute there, I swear I thought we were going into a ghetto girl fight. Google them. Hilarious. So many earrings wasted. Anyway, Angelina wrenches the arm of the champion and drops a leg across it, looking to jack up Mickie&#8217;s elbow. She goes back to work real quick and Mickie manages to get a cartwheel in but Angelina just drives her into the corner. Leading into the kick/punch combination and finally, the senior official calls her out on it.</p>
<p><em>Insert awkward evil glare here.</em></p>
<p>It causes just enough of a distraction that when Angelina comes back in, Mickie jumps up and wraps her legs around Angelina&#8217;s throat. A headscissors takedown and Mickie may have shifted momentum, but those evil eyes to Winter almost brought back old school psycho memories. Angelina moves in quick, landing a suplex and going for a pin but it&#8217;s no good. A rebound into the ropes and Angelina goes for a clothesline but a baseball slide from Mickie leads to a flip over. The defending champion looks to be going for that rebound low dropkick, blowing a kiss to Winter before she hits the ropes. But Winter grabs her, dropping her like a sack of potatoes on the outside floor. Um&#8230;ouch. See what happens when you taunt people on the outside? Tsk tsk.</p>
<p>Angelina drops to the outside but out of sheer desperation, Mickie sends her flying into the steel steps. Winter looks to almost be having a panic attack as her&#8230;whatever the hell she is now, writhes on the floor in pain. Meanwhile, Mickie manages to roll back into the ring while the referee continues to count. Winter helps Angelina up, rolling her back into the ring which stops the count completely. It almost looks like we&#8217;re getting a little bit of old Angelina back as the two contenders crawl toward each other, laying fists to the face. They work their way up until Angelina lands a big knee to Mickie&#8217;s midsection, tossing her into the corner but Mickie comes back, dropping her challenger with a rushing clothesline.</p>
<p><em>Deep breath</em>!</p>
<p>Winter is on the outside, slapping her hands against the canvas but Mickie is battling back now, laying it on thick with the fight back. The crowd is behind her as she goes up to the top, landing a nice Thesz Press to Angelina. She urges the blonde to get up but Winter grabs Mickie&#8217;s foot, however, she&#8217;s smart and is able to dodge the charge attempt from Angelina. A swinging back kick to Angelina&#8217;s face and Mickie goes for the pin, but before the referee could get a good count, Winter puts her minion&#8217;s foot on the ropes. Talk about getting all dramatic with the show. Winter, you should know better than that. With experience such as yours? Shame on you.</p>
<p><strong>BOTOX INJECTION</strong>!</p>
<p>Out of nowhere, as soon as Mickie turns around and this leads Angelina into the cover. But Mickie puts her hand on the ropes and again, Winter is blatantly interfering. While Earl Hebner is distracted with Winter, Angelina starts laying the fists to Mickie James. He pulls her off of the champion and gets in her face, telling her to do what he tells her but she comes right back at him. It looked like she was going to bite his head off ala Ozzy Osbourne. Yowza. I&#8217;m pretty sure she even dropped the MF&#8217;er on him. Haha. But Mickie comes back, looking to go for the DDT but Winter is up on the apron, only to get nailed with a stiff shot to the floor.</p>
<p>Another exchange and Angelina grabs her but Mickie manages to execute a swift northern lights suplex. A bridge pin but Angelina kicks out after two. Into the corner they go, do-si-do and Mickie charge only to get rolled up. I swear, I have never been more tired of counting to just two in my life. Even with the leverage from Winter on the outside, it wasn&#8217;t enough. But Mickie comes back, sets Angelina up for the DDT and&#8230;.what the hell?! <strong>SERIOUSLY</strong>?! Did you just botch the hell out of your own finishing move?! As many times as you&#8217;ve&#8230;.ugh. Anyway, Mickie goes for the pin and somehow, it was enough to put the monster down. She claims the three count and wins the match, retaining her Knockouts Championship.</p>
<p>She starts to celebrate, though I&#8217;m not all that sure why. But Winter is in the ring and she goes after her, taking off that wide leather belt and just starts beating the hell out of Mickie with it. I believe one of my favorite people on the planet would say, &#8220;<em>Beating her like a government mule</em>!&#8221;. The bell is sounded multiple times, in a lame attempt to break up the beatdown but Winter is choking the air out of her. Hebner manages to get Winter off her back but Angelina, awakened from her dazed botched DDTness, snatches up the belt and goes in for the kill. A blatant choke with a knee to Mickie&#8217;s back but it doesn&#8217;t last long. The senior official is acting like the Cat Daddy of the ring and chases them away, but not before Winter can secure her belt. With evil glares and mischievious smirks, Winter and Angelina retreat to the back while Hebner checks on Mickie.</p>
<p><strong>Thoughts</strong>: Well, it certainly wasn&#8217;t what I thought it would be but I can&#8217;t say it was absolutely horrible. It is odd to see Angelina coming out not looking like a creature of the living dead. No dark circle. She actually looked fresh faced and rejuvenated. It was a very awkward match, I do have to say. I expected a lot more, technical wise but it is what it is. That major blow botch at the end just kinda ruined it for me. I don&#8217;t even wanna know what that was but I&#8217;m glad they didn&#8217;t just end it there. I&#8217;m so happy they choked the hell out of her in the end. Teach her to botch again. Also, honorable mention to <a href="<a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/christy-hemme">Christy Hemme</a> for finally wearing a dress with no belt. Haha. Until Impact, my lovies! xoxo</p>
<p><strong>Rating</strong>: 3/5</p>

<p>The <em>Diva Dirt</em> team weigh in on tonight&#8217;s Slammiversary pay per view match between <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/mickie-james">Mickie James</a> and <a href="http://diva-dirt.com/tag/angelina-love">Angelina Love</a>.</p>
<p><u>April:</u> This is a hard one for me. I&#8217;ve been watching this feud unfold, even in the short time because obviously, it&#8217;s my job. However, I still can&#8217;t decide who I think is going to walk away with the Knockouts Championship. I may just have to wing it and say that I&#8217;m going to go with <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Angelina Love</span></strong> as the winner. I would hate to think that Mickie would lose her title after such a short time, because I think she really earned it, but I can see Zombielina putting one over on her. She and Winter have been on a tear as of late and with the new developments, it seems like the monster and her mistress are even more hellbent on destruction. I am very curious to see how this match comes out and who the champion will be after it is over. Slammiversary is pretty much the biggest pay-per-view for Impact Wrestling so it is bound to be a damn good show.</p>
<p><u>Bobby:</u> Even though I feel this match should have been Mickie against Winter, what can I do about it? I&#8217;ve found Mickie to be vastly more entertaining since her arrival in TNA, and I&#8217;ve enjoyed her programs with Tara and Madison Rayne, even though I felt the one with Rayne lasted far too long. Angelina is not my favorite Knockout to challenge for the title, but I&#8217;ve enjoyed her work lately against Miss Tessmacher, and more recently, Mickie and Tara, so this should be a pretty good match. I see the bout having a lot of interference from Winter, and Angelina coming close to winning multiple times. In the end however, <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> picks up the victory after shoving Angelina into Winter and hitting the DDT. I really hope this leads into a program between Mickie and Winter, but I&#8217;m just glad someone different is facing the Knockouts Champion this month.</p>
<p><u>Cryssi:</u> I&#8217;m not even going to pretend to know what&#8217;s going on with these two because I don&#8217;t keep up. Last I heard, Angelina was some type of no-selling zombie and Mickie was Knockout Champion. I&#8217;m assuming that&#8217;s the still the case so I reckon we&#8217;ll have a match up full of shenanigans from the Angelina/Winter side and a Mickie victory at the end. So that said, <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> will prevail! Hardcore Country.</p>
<p><u>Erin:</u> I feel like, somehow, this Angelina/Winter thing has to come to a head, if not in a way that destroys the hold Winter has over Angelina, then something that slightly changes the dynamic. I think if Mickie were to manage to fight off the two of them, it could accomplish that. Perhaps Winter gets a little too angry at Angelina&#8217;s loss, or the loss shakes something loose in Angelina&#8217;s psyche. The Angelina/Winter storyline has been going on for some time, and Mickie has had little to nothing to do with it, so I don&#8217;t see why this match would serve to do much other than strengthen Mickie&#8217;s reign as champ and shake up the stagnant storyline. <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> wins and retains her title.</p>
<p><u>Katelyn:</u> As evidenced by the latest Impact Wrestling show, Mickie James&#8217; second person, Tara, still has Madison Rayne to deal with, and with Winter being at Angelina&#8217;s side, my vote goes to <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Angelina Love</span></strong> picking up the victory. The storyline between Angelina and Winter has been going on since October and as of late, TNA seems like they are really pushing Angelina&#8217;s &#8216;zombie&#8217; gimmick making her a stronger competitor. I predict that a victory over the champion and a title belt will only further along whatever Winter&#8217;s &#8216;master plan&#8217; is.</p>
<p><u>Melanie:</u> I&#8217;m not as excited for this match as I should be. Here&#8217;s Angelina Love, TNA&#8217;s golden girl versus the big star from WWE. In terms of merit, Angelina is the quintessential Knockouts Champion, having held the belt five times, and Mickie is a former five time WWE Women&#8217;s Champion. This match should be a big deal. Instead, it&#8217;s taken a back seat on the TV show, in my opinion, to ODB vs Velvet. Really, that match should be on this pay per view. I think it&#8217;s too soon for Mickie to drop the belt; she should have a nice long run. I would like to see Mickie vs Angelina/Winter continue, with more storyline development going into the next pay per view. I say <strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Mickie James</span></strong> wins, perhaps due to a miscommunication between Angelina/Winter. Going into the next event, I would have Mickie try to get to the root of Winter&#8217;s manipulation of Angelina, which would lead to Winter trying to shut her up &#038; mind her own business.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s the moment you&#8217;ve all been waiting for! Okay, so maybe a couple of moments. We&#8217;ve seen weeks upon months of back and forth between all competitors in tonight&#8217;s matches. Whether it&#8217;s the self-proclaimed &#8220;Queen&#8221; of the Knockouts division or the Queen of the Mountain, I have a feeling that tonight, someone is going to get overthrown. So much is on the line tonight. The Knockouts Championship and the contract of a scorned henchwoman, to the physical stature of Little Mama and Big Daddy. The return of a female phenomenon to the ring after ten years has the Impact Zone on fire tonight. I have a feeling there are definitely going to be fireworks. I hope you brought the marshmallows for roasting because there&#8217;s going to be heat.</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xiqfiz?width=580&#038;theme=none&#038;wmode=transparent"></iframe></p>
<p>Our real and true action for TNA Sacrifice starts out in the form of Jeff Jarrett and his Queen of the Hillside, <strong>Karen Jarrett</strong>. They slowlly make their way onto the stage, hand on the ribcage, crutches in hand and a boot on the foot. Say what?! Karen is dressed like she&#8217;s on her way to the prom, heel and all. Jeff hands her the crutches and they make their way to the ring, slow enough for another population to have enough time to develop on a foreign planet. When they finally reach the apron, Jeff helps her up and through all the pain and anguish, she limps to the middle of the ring. Jeff takes to the microphone, stating that unfortunately, and being an adorable, caring wife and mother. Please, give him all of your attention because he has a very important announcement to make! Listen people! Listen!<span id="more-37590"></span></p>
<p>Friday morning, when Karen was making her rounds like a nurse at a mental institution, handing out her orders to the slaves at Casa de Jarrett&#8230;</p>
<p>Cue the &#8220;bullshit&#8221; chants.</p>
<p>Apparently, Karen slipped and fell on one of her son&#8217;s action figures, guessing it was a Jeff Jarrett. I&#8217;m going to assume that because we all know how many slip-ups he&#8217;s had in his career. Ahem. According to the &#8220;doctor&#8221;, Karen has a Grade 3 sprain and her ankle is broken in two places. Two, for those counting on Jarrett&#8217;s fingers. That&#8217;s not Big Daddy&#8217;s diagnosis, it&#8217;s the doctor&#8217;s and he is as disappointed as everyone else. And according to the &#8220;doctor&#8221;, there won&#8217;t be a match tonight against Kurt Angle and Chyna. They hate it. Honestly. But doctor&#8217;s orders are doctor&#8217;s orders and thank you all for understanding. Oh wait&#8230;<strong><em>BANG BANG</em></strong>!</p>
<p>The network rep, Mick Foley, has something to say and he is quick to make his way to the ring. Mick confirms that he did see the x-ray and it was fractured in two places. Wait, I thought it was a sprain and a double break? From someone who has had ankle injuries(break, sprain and fracture), you name it, I definitely smell bullshit. Although, Karen should be keen on that smell by this point. Mick says, as it turns out, you can tell a few things by an x-ray, such as the gender of the subject. In certain cases, you can tell the race or even the size of a subject. Karen is quick to defend that the x-rays belong to her but Mick says, out of all the adjectives to describe her, a 6 foot 6 inch African American male is not one of them! Oh snap!</p>
<p>Karen immediately calls him a liar and Mick asks Jeff if he knows where they are standing. Where?! Tell us where Mick! A wrestling ring. What takes place in a wrestling ring? Wrestling matches. And why? Wrestling matters! Karen, always on top of things, immediately starts defending that she has nothing to wear but Mick is already two steps ahead. Jolene has prepared Karen something special to wear tonight when she steps into the ring with <strong>Chyna</strong>! But Mick has good news <em>AND </em>bad news. The bad news is she is likely to get her butt kicked all over the Impact Zone but the good news is, she is going to look so good doing it!</p>
<p>Cue a magnificient temper tantrum. Karen even takes off the corrective boot and, along with her crutches, throws that boot right at Mick Foley. Thankfully, she is a bad aim and Mick walks away scathed only by her harsh words of hatred.</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xiqbku?width=580&#038;theme=none&#038;wmode=transparent"></iframe></p>
<p>Backstage, we see <strong>Tara </strong>standing with Jeremy Borash, talking about the TNA Knockouts Championship match set to come up next. JB tells Tara that, given the outcome of this match, her life could change very drastically. Tara says that she&#8217;s in a very awkward position and she&#8217;s torn. <strong>Madison Rayne</strong> got her job back and she was set to come back to protect the &#8220;Queen&#8221; but she&#8217;s been treating her like crap. However, if <strong>Mickie James</strong> wins then Tara is free of Madisonland. JB drops the bomb question, asking Tara who she wants to win the match tonight but before she can answer, we get an interruption. Although, I can&#8217;t decide if I&#8217;m more thrown off by Madison&#8217;s horrible attitude or that wretched colossal crown on her head.</p>
<p>The challenger in tonight&#8217;s title match steps into the picture, stating that she wants to hear the answer to this question. But, before Tara can given an answer, she tells her to shut up and that she doesn&#8217;t care what Tara wants. It&#8217;s all about what Madison wants and tonight, what Madison wants is for Tara to stay put, backstage, because she doesn&#8217;t want or need her out there. The last thing Tara wants to do is go out there and cost Madison this match tonight. By the way, you&#8217;re welcome for your job back, Tara. Snaps! Excuse her.</p>
<p>Cue the recap video of the history between Tara, Madison and Mickie.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s finally time for this Knockouts match to start. Madison is out first, finally in a new outfit that I can definitely agree with. However, that atrocious concoction on her head, not so much. She steps out onto the stage, waving to the crowd and even gives us all a bow before she heads to the ring. She barely gets up on the turnbuckles, attempting to balance that crown before <strong><em>HARDCORE COUNTRY</em></strong>! rips through the Impact Zone. Did I mention Christy Hemme is announcing at the pay-per-view as well?! Go Christy. Way to boot Jeremy Borash to the back and take charge.</p>
<p>Anyway, the Knockouts Champion has a new outfit of her own. A tiny top, even smaller daisy dukes and shiny new pink boots. She bounds to the ring and takes her time, showing off that fancy gold strap. All the while, Madison is screeching that it belongs to her and gets completely ignored in the process. The official does his duty and calls for the bell, the two competitors circling one another but it seems like the final member of this troublesome trio is a little late to the action. Tara&#8217;s music blasts throughout and Madison instantly starts freaking while her bodyguard slowly makes her way to the ring. Brattycakes is not happy and she jumps down to the floor, demanding to know why Tara is out to the ring when she gave her an order. She owns her, why is she out there?! Tara, paying attention to the counting official, points out to Madison that she is going to get counted out. I&#8217;m surprised anyone could hear him over the nails on a chalkboard protruding from Madison&#8217;s mouth.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, Madison quickly turns back to the ring and attempts to slide in but gets a nice dropkick from Mickie, knocking her back. Mickie slides down and gets a rough clothesline takedown. A bit of tension comes about between Mickie and Tara, who clenches her fist in the champion&#8217;s direction. The distraction tends to be just enough for Madison to slap Mickie down against the steel steps when she comes back after her. Madison slides into the ring and goes right after her when Mickie rejoins her. A kick to the head with a pin attempt, feet on the ropes but the referee catches it after the first count. <em>WHAT</em>?! You&#8217;ve never seen feet on the ropes before?! Come on!</p>
<p>Attempting to correct it, Madison pulls her opponent into the middle of the ring and pins again but it&#8217;s a no-go. Madison turns her frustration back towards Tara, bitching as usual but this gives Mickie just enough to come back. She nails Madison with sharp punches to the gut and then one to the face. A whirlaround and they&#8217;re across the ring, in the corner. Mickie gets a leg up but Madison tosses her legs over the top rope, taking a huge chunk of her hair. A warning from the official and Madison slams Mickie back, landing her rough on the mat. Um..ouch. Another pin attempt but Madison hasn&#8217;t quite won this one yet. They head back across the ring, right in front of Tara and Madison lays Mickie&#8217;s throat right across the middle rope, a leg draped across the back of her neck. &#8220;What are you doing?!&#8221; Well, Madison, I&#8217;m standing here, watching you beat up on Mickie James with my fists clenched like so. What does it look like?</p>
<p>Releasing the hold, Madison gets down on the floor and in Tara&#8217;s grill, asking her if she&#8217;s gonna do something. Why is she out there?! Tara looks as if she wants to knock Madison&#8217;s little ass backwards but Madison quickly reminds her that she owns her. What a nightmare. Madison, all smiles, gets back in the ring and gets a couple of stiff shots from Mickie. A nice hanging neckbreaker and both women are down on the mat. Tara, the ever so supportive one, starts slamming her hands down on the apron. Mickie is the first one to her knees and she uses the ropes for support, almost looking to get a nice right hook from Tara but the conflicted veteran refrains. Oh come on. Just hit someone already! I&#8217;m game for it.</p>
<p>But Madison is up now and pulls Mickie away from the ropes but gets a reverse into a roll-up. One count. Another flip and Mickie goes for a jacknife bridge pin, another attempt at a backslide but Madison forces Mickie&#8217;s arm right into the referee&#8217;s face. A back kick into Mickie and the champion is down while the challenger rolls to the outside. Under the ring, Madison reaches for that loaded glove that we haven&#8217;t seen in a few weeks. However, finally gathering some wit about her, Tara jumps onto the apron and rips it off almost as soon as Madison can get it loaded up. Assert yourself, girl! Way to stand up to the&#8230;woman. You know what I mean!</p>
<p>Mickie, playing to opportunity, comes back and looks to be going for that DDT but Madison reverses and goes for a roll-up, yanking on the tights. But no! So close but no cigar. Both women are back up and Mickie is just laying into Madison, forearms and flying clotheslines galore! Up she goes and a one arm flapjack, kipping back up to her feet. Onto the top rope and Madison is staggering but she is fast to move out of the way, causing Mickie to drop the Thesz press right onto the official! He just rolled over like a tumbleweed! Mickie can&#8217;t believe it but a drop from Madison takes her down.</p>
<p>But Madison&#8217;s mouth proves to be a distraction because just as she sets Mickie up for the RayneDrop, the champ counters with a nice takedown. Mickie demands that Madison get up and goes for DDT once more but Tara is in the ring now! She&#8217;s adorned with that glove and she is loading it up like a world class boxing champ! Oh boy. It comes down to this. Does Tara choose the woman who has controlled her life for months on end or the woman who is attempting to free her of those shackles? Madison is in her face, demanding she take out Mickie, who is just waiting for the decision. Tara looks back and forth between the two, finally making a decision on what looks to be Madison. The dictator instantly changes her story, dropping to her knees, telling Tara to do the right the thing. She&#8217;s her friend. And I&#8217;m the Queen of England. Pip Pip! Cheerio! Whatever.</p>
<p>Tara turns her attention to Mickie, seeming to apologize for what is about to come but just as she raises her arm, she swings it around and nails the living hell out of Madison Rayne! <strong><em>OH MY GOD</em></strong>! Without a blink, Tara grabs the official and forces him over while Mickie goes for the cover. <strong>ONE! TWO! THREE! TARA IS FREE</strong>! She can&#8217;t believe it! She scurries out of the ring and is trembling like a scared chihuahua on a stormy night. Her contract with Madison is now null and void and Mickie James is <em>STILL </em>The TNA Knockouts Champion! There will never be anyone more happy than Tara right now.</p>
<p><iframe frameborder="0" width="580" height="326" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xiqbe2?width=580&#038;theme=none&#038;wmode=transparent"></iframe></p>
<p>The following is a tag team match, with girl on girl and guy on guy. Um&#8230;what the hell, Christy? Haha. I don&#8217;t even want to know. Whatever happened to, &#8220;The women must face the women and the men must face the men.&#8221;? So much for the formality. Out first, are the team of Karen and Jeff Jarrett and well, Mick wasn&#8217;t lying about the outfit. For someone who has never wrestled, Karen&#8217;s gear is definitely something to talk about. The two are semi-matching in their black, silver and gold but Karen is still not happy. While Jeff stops to bicker with fans in the audience, she nearly looks like she&#8217;d rather jump off a bridge. But, Jeff is doing his best to smile and has them pose for the crowd. Nice cut out on the back of Karen&#8217;s top. She may look miserable but I do love the attire.</p>
<p>Next to the ring is Kurt Angle, with a shit eating grin on his face as he rises from under the stage. He struts down the ramp and when he smiles at Karen, she screams at him that it is not funny. All the games are over now, though because Chyna is on her way to the ring now. Her new theme hits and the anticipation builds. I have to give her props, where her outfit looks like a generic Medusa knockoff from back in the day, she&#8217;s sporting the American colors to support her partner. She looks happy and ready for this match-up, waving to the crowd with a giant smile on her face. Can you imagine what&#8217;s going through the mind of Karen Jarrett? I&#8217;m pretty sure she&#8217;s close to peeing herself in front of millions. If I were her, I probably would be. But thank God for small miracles.</p>
<p>Making a mess and a timeline out of getting in the ring, Jeff gets up on the apron and tells them all to get back before Karen gets on the apron. The loving couple embrace and Jeff continues to tell Chyna that she isn&#8217;t going to lay a hand on his wife. Still unable to contain his excitement, Kurt circles around Jeff but stops to give a grand wave in Karen&#8217;s direction. Oh he&#8217;s like a kid in a candy store on Halloween. But Karen? Someone give her the number to a therapist. She&#8217;s going to need it after tonight. Especially after she nearly has a stroke just watching Jeff and Kurt switch it up in the ring.</p>
<p>The crowd is behind the Olympic gold medalist, however, but eventually, the &#8220;We Want Chyna&#8221; chants begin and Kurt points to his partner. The crowd erupts and with a twist to Jarrett&#8217;s arm, Kurt tags Chyna in. Now remember what Christy said, it&#8217;s girls on girls. Jeff zips out of the ring and tells the referee that it has to be Kurt in the ring, not Chyna. So the official distinguishes that Chyna cannot Jeff, who tells her he will break her in half. The ref goes on to inform us that the one who must face off against Chyna is indeed a Jarrett&#8230;Karen Jarrett. Chyna, never one to back down, steps over to Karen&#8217;s corner but she is on the floor, demanding that her husband get in the ring. But he can&#8217;t. You know the rules, Big Daddy.</p>
<p>Karen, who begins sobbing when the crowd chants &#8220;Chyna&#8217;s Gonna Kill You!&#8221;, still hasn&#8217;t made her way into the ring. She practically begs Jeff not to make her get in the ring but she does so reluctantly, until Big Daddy comes up with an idea. While the official and Chyna are paying attention to The Drama Queen of the Mountain, Jeff begins attacking Kurt and demands that the ref get Chyna out. Jeff is still the legal man and so long as he is active in the ring, I suppose that means Kurt is the legal man again as well. Jarrett never tagged in Karen and he tells Chyna to get out and stay out. She is never going to touch Karen, who gets a hug on the outside from her hubby. How grotesque.</p>
<p>Another exchange from the men leads to a counter powerbomb and the ankle lock applied. Karen, trying to be sneaky, attempts to slide under the middle rope but stops in her tracks. Kurt releases Jeff and grabs Karen, tossing her over his shoulder and tries to take her to the corner towards Chyna. A chop block to the knee of Kurt takes them down and Karen gets slammed down, but I suppose since she was so scared, she easily escapes to her corner. Adrenaline rush, perhaps? As Mike Tenay points out, Big Daddy didn&#8217;t seem to care too much about how Little Mama was going to land. Oh well. He&#8217;s too busy taking out the ex-husband and slinging his sweat at Chyna, who keeps telling the Jarretts that Karen is dead. Yes, please. <em>PLEASE</em>!</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the men keep battling it out and Karen is just waiting for this match to end so she doesn&#8217;t have to face off against Chyna. A couple of near falls and they&#8217;re still going, leading into multiple German suplexes from Angle to Jarrett. Oh! The straps are down and Karen is screaming like she&#8217;s in a horror movie. A counter from Jarrett and it doesn&#8217;t seem like we&#8217;re going to see the two women mix it up in this match. I&#8217;m all for a great technical match but we&#8217;re here for the women&#8217;s action, right? That&#8217;s what I thought. Another pin attempt from Kurt onto Jeff and Karen demands that her husband kick out. He does but his arm reaches out for a tag but Karen isn&#8217;t having it. An attempt from Angle to reach Jarrett&#8217;s hand toward his ex-wife leads her down to the floor and gets Angle a back kick to the crotch for his efforts. Good thing you&#8217;ve already got kids, huh Kurt?</p>
<p>Always one to bounce back, Kurt takes this time to tag in the pacing tigress on the outside and Chyna is finally legal! Karen is on the outside and that leaves Big Daddy in the ring. Oh noes! He turns around and gets a slam to the mat. Add a suplex to the equation and Chyna points her attention to Karen, who starts to walk away, only to come back around into the ring. She backs up, attention on her stalker and backs right into her ex-husband. There is certainly no love lost here because no matter how much she begs, he isn&#8217;t letting her go anywhere. Chyna, slowly catching up, rolls into the ring and we&#8217;re about to see what we&#8217;ve all been waiting for! <em>EXCITEMENT</em>!</p>
<p>Karen, backing into the corner when she should be running away, gets sandwiched by Chyna and falls flat only to get pulled up and set up for the Pedigree. Or as Mike Tenay so kindly puts it, a double underhook DDT style move. Whatever. It&#8217;s a Pedigree. You know it. I know it. Deal with it. Chyna executes and Kurt is down on the mat, telling Chyna to lock in that ankle lock on Karen. Chyna does as instructed but before Karen can smack her hand down on the mat, Big Daddy slides into the ring and holds his wife hand in the air. However, he leaves his own ankles open and Kurt takes advantage, locking Jeff into an ankle lock submission of his own. It isn&#8217;t a blink of the eye before The Royal Queen of the Hillside is slapping her hand down on the mat.</p>
<p><strong>The winners of this match: Kurt Angle and Chyna!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Thoughts</strong>: Well, I can definitely say that this pay-per-view went over a lot better than I had anticipated. I honestly thought the championship match would be a major hot mess, not to mention the return of Chyna to the ring after ten years. It&#8217;s hard to know what to expect when someone returns after that long. But, I can say that she really did not do bad at all. It could have been so much worse and I&#8217;m proud that she was able to hold her own and stay true to herself after all this time. As for Karen, all I can say is, I have a number to a great chiropractor.</p>
<p>Now that Tara is free, I&#8217;m curious to see what happens. I&#8217;d love to see her feud with Madison and possibly go on to face Mickie for the Knockouts Championship. I&#8217;d like to see her have a good title run before she retires, which I&#8217;m thinking might be sooner rather than later. I&#8217;d hate for this to be the last thing she does before that, however. As for Mickie and Madison, please let it be over. I can&#8217;t take anymore! There&#8217;s only so much you can do and it&#8217;s been done. Please. And another note on Chyna, I&#8217;m still not convinced we&#8217;ll see more of her after this but only time will tell. Not a bad night overall.</p>

<p>In her first match back after several years of self-imposed wrestling exile, Chyna proved to be a comeback queen tonight at TNA&#8217;s Sacrifice pay per view.</p>
<p>Chyna, teaming with Kurt Angle, was victorious in her in-ring return over Karen and Jeff Jarrett.</p>
<p>Perhaps the most popular person in the Impact Zone during the entire PPV, fans chanted to see Chyna step into the ring, giving the one-time 9th Wonder of the World a huge ovation.<span id="more-37551"></span></p>
<p>When she was finally tagged in, Chyna cleared house of Jeff before hitting the pedigree on Karen and making her tap out to the ankle lock.</p>
<p>However, Chyna&#8217;s years away from the ring were clearly evident as she awkwardly hit a bodyslam and suplex on Jeff, before hitting an equally awkward pedigree on Karen.</p>
<p>Still, it was a triumphant night for the WWE icon.</p>
<p>What did you think of Chyna&#8217;s return to the ring? Nostalgic? Wish she&#8217;d have stayed away? Tell us in the comments!</p>

<p>Going into tonight&#8217;s Sacrifice pay per view, Tara had a choice &#8212; her allegiance with Madison Rayne or her freedom courtesy of Mickie James. She went for the latter.</p>
<p>Helping Mickie win her Knockouts Championship match at the pay per view, Tara clocked Rayne with a punch with the self-professed Queen&#8217;s own loaded glove.</p>
<p>The glove was introduced into the match by Rayne earlier, as she went to grab it from under the ring while the referee was down. Tara, however, ripped the glove out of her hands and later used it for her own gain.</p>
<p>By helping Mickie win the match, Tara is now free of any services she owed Madison, who brought her back to TNA after retiring her at this very pay per view one year ago.</p>
<p>What did you think of the match? Where do Tara, Mickie and Madison go next? Put your thoughts in the comments!</p>
