It has been reported for months now that Dakota Kai was all healed up and ready to get back to the squared circle. Last week it was announced that her return would happen on this week’s live NXT episode. She would make her way into the ring with “welcome back” chants and tears in her eye. She would take on Taynara.
The match started with trash talk from Taynara which ended with a kick to her face from the captain of Team Kick. Kai attempted to go up top, but Taynara would then take control of the match. The returning Kai would refocus and get the control back utilizing her devasting kicks.
She puts Taynara away with a GTK to get the pin.
