TNA has announced that this year’s inductee to their TNA Hall of Fame will former Knockouts Champion Gail Kim. This marks the first time a woman will be inducted to TNA’s Hall of Fame. Previous inductees include Sting, Kurt Angle, Team 3-D, Jeff Jarrett and Earl Hebner.

Gail has a prestigious career in TNA, one that dates back to even before an official women’s division was launched in TNA; carrying an early feud with Jacqueline.

On top of being TNA’s inaugural Knockouts Champion, a title she would win on five separate occasions, Gail has also held the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Madison Rayne. Gail was also one of few women to have taken part of TNA’s World Title Series, making it the final 16 round. She has topped PWI’s Female 50 in the year 2012 and has played a keystone to some of TNA’s most notable Knockouts feuds and matches against the likes of Taryn Terrell, The Beautiful People, Brooke, most recently Maria Kanellis and, of course, Awesome Kong;  Outside the ring, Gail has also served as a mentor and judge during the second season of TNA’s British Boot Camp.

TNA will hold their Hall of Fame ceremony during the weekend TNA’s Bound For Glory event.

Congratulations to Gail!
