Tonight at Hell in a Cell, Charlotte‘s first Divas Title defense was a successful one.
She took on Nikki Bella – the woman she defeated for the title at Night of Champions – in the official rematch. Nikki, without Alicia Fox or Brie by her side as per an official ruling that banned all outsiders from ringside, put everything she had in her effort to become a three-time Divas Champion, pushing Charlotte to her limit in and out of the ring.
It wasn’t enough, though: trapped in a Figure Eight, Nikki had no choice but to tap out, awarding the victory to Charlotte and keeping the title around her waist.
Post-match, Charlotte was joined in the ring by Becky Lynch and Paige who were both enthusiastic in their celebration of her victory.
