Tonight on Lucha Underground, Ivelisse became the first woman to go one-on-one for the Lucha Underground Championship when she challenged champion Mil Muertes.

Ivelisse earned the shot by winning a Triple Threat match against Angelico and Son of Havoc earlier in the night, rolling up Angelico for the victory.

In the main event, Ivelisse put up a big fight against the monstrous Mil Muertes and was even able to fend off Catrina.

In the end, though, Ivelisse couldn’t take down the champ and eventually fell to his finisher.

When Mil Muertes and Catrina attempted to pick apart Ivelisse post-match, Prince Puma came to her rescue, allowing her to leave the Temple title-less, but in one piece.

Lucha Underground airs Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on the El Rey Network.
