The announcement was first reported by LuFisto yesterday, August 30, and later confirmed by other wrestlers Ray shared the ring with:

According to VoxCatch, she left the business in 2015 when a brain tumor was discovered during an MRI performed due to a concussion suffered during a match. As the tumor was inoperable, the wrestler had a radiotherapy-based training and had planned to return in May 2017, but her health took a turn.

Ray, born in Hong Kong, China, made the rounds in Japan at REINA, Ice Ribbon, Sendai Girls, and SMASH. She was also known in the United States where she performed for SHIMMER and in Mexico at the CMLL in 2011.
