Kylie Rae could sign with All Elite Wrestling

Last week, Chief Brand Officer, Brandi Rhodes, teased All Elite Wrestling would introduce some “newly signed women” on February 7th at their Ticket Announcement Party. There’s still a lot of mystery surrounding who the promotion may be in negotiations with, but reports suggest Kylie Rae is one of them.

Dave Meltzer broke the news on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier today, saying: “Another name to mention for AEW is, whether it is a done deal or close, is Kylie Rae.”

It has already been a hot start to the year for Kylie. The inaugural Zelo Pro Women’s Champion recently regained the title in a two out of three falls match against Tessa Blanchard. On Jan. 5, she challenged Jordynne Grace for the Progress Women’s Championship for Warrior Wrestling. She’s also the current AAW Women’s Champion, after an emotional hometown win back in November.

It seems like her name is popping up more and more every day. The Chicago native landed a story in a local newspaper, the Daily Southtown—published by the Chicago Tribune Media Group. She recently made an appearance on Xavier Woods’ YouTube channel, Up Up Down Down, along with Woods and Tyler Breeze. The up-and-comer was also a guest on Women’s Wrestling Weekly, where she talked about her recent title wins, training with Booker T, and her dream opponent.

After her big win in November, Kylie Rae is more motivated than ever. With the amount of exposure, she’s getting now, it’s only a matter of time before a promotion scoops her up. This would be a great signing for AEW. The promotion’s first signee, Britt Baker, is someone Kylie has expressed interest in wrestling in the past.

The Double Or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party will take place on Feb. 7 at 9 p.m. ES at the Talent Pool at MGM Grand Hotel. Fans can watch the accompanying live stream on YouTube, the official AEW Twitter page, the Young Bucks Facebook page, and Brandi Rhodes’ Instagram.
