Lana bashes Ronda Rousey in Twitter rant

We reported yesterday that there are several cast changes coming to the ninth season of Total Divas. Lana, who was removed from the show, did not keep her feelings to herself regarding the addition of Ronda Rousey. Sonya Deville is actually the one who replaced Lana on the show but Rousey received all the heat.

On Twitter, Lana said Rousey is “overrated.” She also said, “[Rousey] 100% changed the game in UFC but this is WWE and she hasn’t changed the game here.” Lana was extremely upset about E! Network executives removing her and Rusev from the show for “being strongly disliked by E! demographic,” per Lana’s own words during an interview with Lilian Garcia on her Chasing Glory podcast.

Lana was piggy-backing Ruby Riott‘s tweets aimed at Rousey. Riott went off on the champ for focusing too much energy on her WrestleMania challenger and forgetting she has a match at Elimination Chamber. Riott is sick and tired of being overlooked by the women’s champion.

Lana responded to Riott’s tweet saying, “I would be thrilled if you took her place ! So overrated she is ! I mean she claims to change the game yet she can’t bring ratings …. soooo ummm.”

Do you think Rousey deserves the backlash from Lana and Riott? Comment below and let us know what you think.
