Liv Morgan vs. Carmella confirmed for Extreme Rules

There will now be a third women’s match at Extreme Rules. Liv Morgan will be taking on Carmella in a singles bout.

On tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, we witnessed the match that was cut from last week’s show. In tag team action, Morgan teamed with Toni Storm to take on Carmella and Zelina Vega.

The match ended in a count-out after Carmella’s face was driven into the turnbuckle by Morgan. Carmella felt as though her nose was “broken” from the impact that she rolled out of the ring and took the loss for her team.

After the match, Morgan took to the mic and challenged Carmella to a match at Extreme Rules. She says that she wants to make Carmella look as hideous on the outside as she is on the inside.

A few moments later, Carmella was being checked out by medical backstage and shockingly her nose was just fine. The Most Beautiful Woman in All of WWE then accepted Liv’s challenge. Vega chimed in and stated that Morgan will have to go through her first before she can get to Carmella. Vega vs. Morgan is booked for next week’s SmackDown.

Other women’s matches at Extreme Rules include the SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair and for the red brand, Charlotte Flair will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss. The event takes place on Sunday, September 26.

205 Live this week continues to have women’s matches take place. This was the third week in row women were represented in a match on the show. Amari Miller face Valentina Feroz. Miller achieved her first WWE win last week against Cora Jade. Feroz picked up the win.
