On this week’s IMPACT, Madison Rayne announced that she will be back to in-ring action as she has thrown her name into the Gauntlet Match for Slammiversary. This match will be for the number one contender for the Knockouts Championship.
Rayne announced this in her weekly Locker Room Talk segment. She promised to welcome one of the most iconic Knockouts of all-time on her show. It was her.
She will be stepping away from her journalistic role on commentary and will join the other 10-Knockouts for the match. Rayne has not had a match since taking on Havok in March which she lost.
The other participants include Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz, Susie, Kylie Rae, Nevaeh, Havok, Alisha Edwards, and Kimber Lee. With these names listed, we have four tag teams in this match so it will be interesting to see what happens if they wind up in the ring together at the same time.
During the interview – with herself – Rayne was interrupted by Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz. They mock her for interviewing herself and Rayne admits it is lonely at the top. Havok and Nevaeh would then enter the room. The two teams brawl to end the segment.
