New Knockouts Tag Team Champions crowned at Rebellion; Taylor Wilde makes her long-awaited return

Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering are your NEW Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

Grace & Ellering defeated Fire ‘N Flava and ended their reign at 99-days. Fire ‘N Flava ushered in the return of the tag team belts and became the first champions since the prior titles were deactivated in 2013.

Ellering made her debut to IMPACT this past week leading up to Rebellion. She saved Grace from a two-on-one attack following Grace’s match against Kiera Hogan. Jazz found Ellering to be Grace’s partner after she kept to her word and retired from in-ring action. Jazz was by ringside however during this match.

A very competitive match between the two teams came down to Ellering and Hogan. Ellering hits a Fisherman Buster/Spinebuster combination to get the pin and the win. We now have new champions and Jordynne Grace has now held both the Knockouts Championship and the tag titles.

Tasha Steelz did take a scary spot during the match by flying over the top rope and her back crashed into the ring apron. She is said to be fine from that and ended up finishing the match.

As for the Knockouts Championship match, Deonna Purrazzo continues her reign and dominance as she comes out retaining against Tenille Dashwood.

Dashwood goes with the Muta Lock, but Lee and Susan go for the distraction as they both hop up on the apron. Kaleb comes to assist as he pulls down Lee and Dashwood takes down Susan. Lee and Kaleb continue on the outside while Purrazzo connects with a pump kick to put down Dashwood.

Dashwood then hits the Spotlight Kick and goes for the cover. Lee gets involved again and pulls Dashwood off to prevent the pin. Purrazzo follows up with a DDT and tries for the Queen’s Gambit but Dashwood counters. A Fujiwara armbar is then locked in on Dashwood, but she is able to escape. After trading a back and forth fight, the champion hit a boot to the face of the challenger. Purrazzo then connects with the Queen’s Gambit to get the pin and retain her title.

Post-match – Purrazzo, Lee, and Susan teamed up to go after an already wounded Dashwood. This is where Taylor Wilde made her return to IMPACT. She cleared out the ring from Lee and Susan as Purrazzo retreated up the ramp.

In a pre-show match the team of Rosemary & Havok defeated Kimber Lee & Susan.
