Coming in 2022 we are going to be seeing more women’s wrestling.
In a teaser from a Twitter account named NGW with a handle of @NGWfederation. The caption simply reads #ExpectMore and we can see in the vignette that it appears to be only women shown. It shows throughout the promo the saying, “In 2022, it’s out with the old and in with the new generation.”
Speculation among those on social media are saying this project may be anything from a rebrand of WOW (Women of Wrestling) or perhaps it will be a type of project focused around GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling).
This Twitter account was created in June with only this one posting appearing today. With not a lot to go on so far, Fightful was able to find out that it is for a women’s wrestling project and another trailer is going to drop soon. Plans for NGW have been in the works for months but at this time there has been no confirmation on who is involved.
In less than 45 seconds this teaser already has some intrigued.
