Nia Jax teases WWE return, new report behind her leave of absence

Raw Superstar Nia Jax has been off WWE television for over three weeks after reportedly being granted a leave of absence by the WWE. She has not quit the company and is currently booked for WWE’s upcoming European tour.

Since then, there have been various speculations as to why Jax decided to take some time off from the WWE. In a new report from Sports Illustrated, who last week reported Jax was unhappy with her current creative direction and pay scale, Jax balked at the idea of losing clean to Sasha Banks at TLC. She called her cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, to ask for his advice, and Johnson encouraged her to walk away if she was unhappy.

Since then, Jax has teased her return to the WWE at Survivor Series as part of Raw’s Women’s Team via Twitter in response SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya tweet:

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Naomi and Tamina will represent SmackDown at Survivor Series with Lynch serving as captain.

Meanwhile, Raw’s Women’s Survivor team will include team captain Alicia Fox, Bayley and Sasha Banks at Survivor Series. Both teams will compete in a traditional 5-on-5 Elimination Match.

Are you looking forward to Nia Jax’s return to the WWE? How would you book her return? Who else would you like to see be part of Raw Women’s Survivor Series team? Let us know in the comments below!
