NWA air “lost” episode – SUPER POWERRR

NWA aired the “lost” episode and season three finale, Super Power. This episode was due to air last month as the ‘go-home’ episode for the now postponed Crockett Cup PPV, which was to be held on April 19, 2020.

The show featured many women from the roster including Kamille’s in-ring debut and interview, which has been shown previously, a Triple-Threat match with Marti Belle, Ashley Vox and Tasha Steelz. Plus the build-up to a Triple-Threat match between Melina, Allysin Kay and Thunder Rosa for the NWA Women’s Championship.

After a video package showing the growing animosity between Melina and Thunder Rosa over the NWA Women’s Championship, Melina makes her way to the studio floor to explain why she challenge Thunder Rosa of the title.

Melina states that she is a living legend and Allysin Kay doesn’t deserve another shot. Kay arrives to stake her claim for title but not before she gets her hands on Melina.

Thunder Rosa then comes out to say that she is ready for anybody and challenges both Melina and Kay in a Triple-Threat at the Crockett Cup.

Hopefully we still get to see this match when things return to “normal”. Allysin Kay and Thunder Rosa absolutely tore the house down when they met previously and Melina would bring an interesting dynamic to the match with her dastardly and villianous ways.

Later on in the show we got a Triple-Threat match between Ashley Vox vs Tasha Steelz vs Marti Belle.

The match starts with Marti refusing to shake hands so Vox and Steelz mix it up. Belle takes advantage with suplexes and a side Russian leg sweep before dropping her opponents with rolling elbows for a two count. Steelz would then hit Belle with a Code Breaker for the victory.

At the end of the show NWA President, Billy Corgan made an announcement on the future of NWA programming and that a new show named CARNYLAND will debut next week.

There were no further details on what the show is about so we will have wait and tune in next week.

NWA Powerrr has done a really good job with establishing the women’s division and hopefully we can see Thunder Rosa, Allysin Kay, and Ashley Vox to name but a few back in an NWA ring sooner rather than later.
