The fallout from TakeOver: Vengeance Day is upon us and there certainly will be a lot to unpack on tonight’s NXT. We witnessed the very first winners of a women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and they have a future tag team title opportunity in their back pockets.
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez earned that win after an amazing performance against Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon on Sunday. Scheduled for tonight is Blackheart & Moon taking on Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae.
Also at Vengeance Day, Io Shirai successfully retained her NXT Women’s Title against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm in a Triple Threat. Will one or both of these women have another go at the title or will we see a new challenger arise?
