NXT Discussion Post: 08.10.21

In a match-up that was originally slated to be Ember Moon facing Sarray, Moon has been replaced by Dakota Kai. The match will kick off the show.

According to WWE.com “Kai was originally slated to face Ember Moon, but Moon was declared unable to compete by the NXT Medical Staff earlier today.”

Sarray currently is undefeated since arriving in NXT, but Kai is the current number one contender for Raquel Gonzalez’s NXT Women’s Title. Who gets the win in this match?

Ember responds to the news of her not being in tonight’s match as advertised on Twitter.

This leads into Gonzalez who is scheduled to “break her silence” since Kai turned on her. Gonzalez vs. Kai takes place at TakeOver: 36 with the NXT Women’s Title on the line on Aug. 22.
