Tonight’s NXT is the last episode before Halloween Havoc that takes place next week. That event is bringing back a theme from WCW which is the third theme brought back this year. The other two were In Your House and The Great American Bash.
So far tonight there is nothing being advertised for the women, however, there are two big matches for next week. The NXT Women’s Title will be on the line as Candice LeRae gets a rematch to try and dethrone Io Shirai. The second match will be Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez. These two powerhouses have been at each other’s throats for weeks now and they finally get to go one-on-one.
LeRae continues on her mission to become the first married couple in NXT to hold gold as her husband, Johnny Gargano, gets a rematch for the NXT North American Title. One big thing stands in their way for this dream to come true and that is the match stipulation. The host of Halloween Havoc, Shotzi Blackheart, informed the couple last week that a wheel will decide their match types.
