Candice LeRae showed no mercy to Mia Yim last week in a backstage brawl after their fatal four way match. That match was to declare the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship in which Tegan Nox won.
LaRae was infuriated as she was eliminated by Yim who has been her heated rival as of late. LaRae claims she was being ganged up on by the other three competitors in a backstage interview.
She looks over and sees Yim and attacks her when she slightly nudged her husband out of the way. Both unleashed all their anger towards each other before being split up by officials.
For weeks these tensions have built up, the Poison Pixie will face The HBIC in a Street Fight to settle their differences. The last time these two had a one-on-one it ended in a double count-out. Hopefully, this will resolve once and for all! Will LaRae successfully get a win over Yim or will Yim send LaRae back to her Wicked Enchantment?
Also scheduled is an appearance by Mercedes Martinez. Martinez has made a small splash since joining the NXT brand but she hopes that splash becomes bigger. For the past couple of weeks there has been video promos hyping her return. She has been missing in action for the past several months. What could her return entail?
