Today in History: Awesome Kong vs. Sojo Bolt & a Six-Knockout Tag Match at Destination X 2009

On this day in history:

March 15th, 2009 | Two very different Knockouts matches took place at Destination X 2009. First, to open the show, the ragtag team of Roxxi, Taylor Wilde and The Governor (Daffney in her Sarah Palin parody) defeated Angelina Love, Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky, Taylor pinning Madison with a bridging German suplex. Later in the night, Awesome Kong retained the Knockouts Title against Sojo Bolt, demonstrating her dominance by turning Sojo’s attempt at a hurricanrana into an explosive Awesome Bomb.
