UK wrestler Pollyanna has officially parted ways with the world of professional wrestling.

The Progress star took to Twitter to announce her departure. She wrote:

The London born athlete was trained by wrestling veterans Emi Sakura and Jimmy Havoc, and made her name known on the independent scene throughout England.

Pollyanna’s career started in 2010, where she debuted in Extreme World Wrestling in a losing effort against Rhia O’Reilly. The young talent quickly transcended through the independent scene by working for companies such as Pro Wrestling Eve, IPW:UK, and Progress Wrestling.

Throughout her career she has held the IPW:UK Women’s champion, as well as the Plex Wrestling Women’s Championship, a title that she has been the current holder of for 480 days.

And though it may have felt like it was just about to lift off, she certainly has a lot to be proud of. From igniting the new Progress women’s division through a phenomenal feud with Jinny, to being the inaugural Plex Wrestling Women’s champion, there are definitely some great moments to look back on.

Diva Dirt wishes Pollyanna the best of luck with her future endeavours, and we hope to see her return to the world of professional wrestling one day.
