There is some good potential for tonight’s RAW. It is the fallout from WrestleMania Backlash that took place on Sunday and Rhea Ripley is still the RAW Women’s Champion. Ripley, who defeated Asuka at WrestleMania was able to pin The Empress of Tomorrow once again in a Triple Threat match that also involved Charlotte Flair.
After the extremely competitive opening match at Sunday’s show, it does appear that Flair isn’t done with Ripley just yet. With Hell in a Cell coming up next month as the next pay-per-view event, could we end up getting these two inside the steel structure?
What is on the schedule for tonight is an Alexa’s Playground with guests. Alexa Bliss has invited the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Tamina & Natalya. Tamina & Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax on last week’s SmackDown. This was Tamina’s first women’s championship win in her 11-year career with WWE.
Last week, Bliss made her way out on stage where she and Lilly sat on her swing set and watched the six-woman tag team match. Bliss says that they were keeping their eye on someone. During the match, Baszler’s knee went out unexpectedly. Could she be the one that Bliss and Lilly are watching?
For the past two week’s we have seen vignettes for a returning Eva Marie. There hasn’t been a date released for her official return with a “coming soon” appearing after each video aired. The last video seemed to hint that Eva Marie may be returning in some managerial role to start. She is referring to herself as a Super Role Model and she will be bringing the Eva-lution.
Will we see any of the other women from the RAW brand tonight? Let’s hope so!
