RAW needs Dana Brooke’s athleticism in the ring

Dana Brooke has been underutilized for quite some time now. She finally received her “opportunity” by participating in the Money in the Bank ladder match last month. Since then she hasn’t appeared on RAW since (minus being a part of a Memorial Day barbecue). In fact, the majority of the female roster hasn’t been utilized since then.

She teamed up with Natalya on last weeks Main Event in tag team action against Tamina and Sarah Logan. Main Event is currently a show that isn’t advertised by the company. Seeing as there is a huge deficiency of tag teams in the women’s division this would have been better served on RAW. Instead, we recently witnessed the Tag Team Champions, The IIconics, defeating a local team.

Brooke did an excellent job at hyping up the crowd throughout the match. Her teamwork with Natalya was unmatched including the final move to secure a victory. She picked up the win for her team by pinning Tamina. This is what is needed on RAW but as a substitute for a wrestling match, Brooke encourages the crowd to flex.

That’s right. In a WWE Exclusive from an unaired moment of RAW, Brooke encourages the crowd during the commercial break to get up out of their seats, flex, and finish the night strong. There is no question that hyping up the crowd isn’t a bad thing at all. What is in question is why is this happening and not a wrestling match? She was already considered a hype girl during her time with Titus Worldwide, but she is more than that.

Recently Bayley had a triple threat match at a house show against Liv Morgan and Ember Moon. This was another example of what should be on RAW or SmackDown and not just on a house show or in the case of Brooke on Main Event.

WWE may be “sports entertainment” but can the fans get some actual wrestling matches?

What are your thoughts on WWE using their talent in better ways on non-televised events?
