Renee Young possibly hosting a new studio show on FS1

With SmackDown’s move to the Fox Network fastly approaching, there have been many rumors on a shuffling to the commentary team. As of now the first woman to regularly commentate on RAW, Renee Young, has her placement up in the air. It is being reported by sources to WrestleVotes that she will be the host of a new studio show.

The show is said to be live on Tuesday nights starting in October on FS1 and be cohosted by Young and Booker T. The details haven’t been announced, nor has this show been mentioned by WWE themselves. This may be a hint that Young will no longer be calling RAW. She could very well still do both.

The current discussions are that Michael Cole is going to move to SmackDown and join Corey Graves. Graves will no longer be doing work on both flagship shows. Furthermore, there are talks to go back to only a two-person commentator booth. Vic Joseph is said to be moving from 205 Live to do play-by-play for RAW. If that is the case then that leaves Byron Saxton, Renee Young, and SmackDown’s current play-by- commentator Tom Phillips placements to be determined.

What are your thoughts on Renee possibly having a new show? Would you like to see her stay on RAW as a commentator? Leave your thoughts in the comment section.
