Acording to a report from the Wrestling Observer (via via Lords of Pain), WWE may have new plans for the NXT women’s division.

As we reported, the original plans called for Eva Marie to be the one to take the NXT Women’s Championship off of Bayley, but officials may have changed their tune. They are now said to be heavily behind building up Dana Brooke and Asuka in the division.

Plans call for Asuka to challenge Bayley for the title to continue the trend of spectacular Women’s Title matches in NXT. With time, the brand is hoping that stars like Eva Marie, Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss continue to improve in the ring and can one way day take the reigns.
