Ronda Rousey trains with Nikki Bella

On last night’s episode of Total Bellas, Nikki Bella visited the Los Angeles home of Ronda Rousey to do some in-ring training. The episode was recorded back in the fall prior to their match for the Raw Women’s Championship at the all female pay-per-view, Evolution.

The two women took advantage of the full scale wrestling ring that Rousey has in the backyard of her California home which she shares with her husband. They were able to train together and prepare for their match.

They are very close friends outside of the ring and both Bella Twins have been mentors to Rousey ever since she transitioned from UFC to pro wrestling. During an episode of Total Bellas, linked above, Nikki had this to say about Rousey, “I really look up to her as a woman, I think she’s done such incredible things in an all male industry.”

The Evolution pay-view aired on October 28th of this past year from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Rousey and Nikki were the main event of the first-ever all women’s pay-per view. Rousey retained her WWE Women’s Championship when Nikki submitted to the armbar. Nikki Bella has not returned to the ring since her loss to Rousey.

Total Bellas which is a spin-off of Total Divas is on its fourth season airing on the E! Network.
