The Divas Championship isn’t even a year old and we can already boast two champion vs champion matches! Tonight on Raw, Divas Champion Maryse visits to face off with Women’s Champion, Melina! A lot can change in a week… just one week ago on Raw, it looked as though WWE was setting this match up for WrestleMania 25.
The first champion vs champion match took place on October 3rd last year, when then Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix beat then Divas Champion Michelle McCool on SmackDown’s premiere show on MyNetworkTV.
Will we see an official announcement for the 25 Diva battle royal also? No time like the present, considering the match is pretty much locked in!
