Last Sunday night Charlotte Flair defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against her former best friend and tea partner Becky Lynch. Lynch pull out a victory to become a now 2 time Smackdown Women’s Champion! The rivalry is far from over as the two will square off again in Australia at the Super Showdown PPV on October 6th. Before that happens we have a few weeks worth of Smackdown to attend to.

“After overcoming Charlotte Flair at WWE Hell in a Cell, Becky Lynch has returned to glory as a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. While Becky’s recent underhanded tactics against her one-time friend have paid off, there are few things more dangerous than The Queen after she has lost her crown. So, depending upon whose camp you’re in, Becky’s scheduled Coronation will either serve as the return of the conquering Becky Balboa or the beginning of Charlotte Flair’s quest to recapture the blue brand title. Either way, fireworks are all but a certainty if these two decorated Superstars cross paths.”
WWE’s instagram posted today the new Queen of Smackdown reigning with her title. Flair will certainly have something to say tonight to Lynch.
Also coming off of a devastating loss to Maryse and the Miz, Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan want some retribution. The Miz will have a special guest on Miz TV tonight. The following is the official preview from WWE:
“Arguably the biggest upset of the night at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view occurred when The Miz & Maryse claimed victory over Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella, and the win perhaps gives The A-Lister the advantage heading into his WWE Super Show-Down clash against Bryan for a future WWE Title opportunity. As Miz and Maryse enjoy the thrill on victory, who will join the A-Lister as his mystery guest on tonight’s Miz TV?”
Lastly, the Mixed Match Challenge starts back tonight following Smackdown Live! At 10pm ET on Facebook Watch. The originally matchup was going to be Alexa Bliss/Braun Strowman facing off against Natalya/Kevin Owens. Breaking news earlier today explained that Bliss is out due to an injury and Ember Moon will take her place.
