SmackDown Women’s Championship match set for Fastlane

Looks like another match was announced for Fastlane. After this week’s episode of SmackDown went off the air, WWE confirmed via a Twitter exclusive that Asuka will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Mandy Rose.

Mandy made an official announcement after SmackDown during a backstage interview with Kayla Braxton. This challenge is coming off the heels of Rose’s stunning win over the champion last week, where she feigned an injury to get the upper hand and pin the Empress of Tomorrow. Now, Rose says she’s going to do it again for the title at Fastlane.

In other women’s news from that night, Charlotte took to the ring to comment on Ronda Rousey seemingly vacating the Raw Women’s Championship last night on Raw. She took shots at both Rousey and Becky Lynch. She implied Vince McMahon will crown her the new champion next week to a chorus of boos.

What do you think? Drop a comment below with your opinion on the state of both Women’s Championships and be sure to check back with Diva Dirt for more updates on Fastlane.
