SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team revealed

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live was taped live in Manchester, England. Keep reading for a spoiler on who made this year’s women’s Survivor Series team for Team Blue.

During the taping of tonight’s SmackDown Live in Manchester, England, General Manager Paige announced who made the cut for the women’s SmackDown Survivor Series team.

The five wrestlers who made the team are Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair. After her name was announced, however, Charlotte Flair failed to appear to stand alongside her new teammates. Flair was offered to captain Team SmackDown, but declined in a self-deprecating move triggered by her loss to Becky Lynch at Evolution.

Who did appear, though, was Mandy Rose. Mandy Rose approached Paige, demanding to know why she wasn’t chosen for the team. The events that followed were somewhat baffling.

It was revealed on last night’s episode of Raw, that Alexa Bliss would captain Team Red, despite being unable to perform. She will decide her teammates on next week’s episode.

SmackDown Live will air this side of the pond at 8 p.m. EST. Stay tuned for more spoilers as we have them.
