Mickie James is the new IMPACT Knockouts Champion after defeating Deonna Purrazzo over the weekend at Bound for Glory. This has made James a four-time Knockouts Champion and a 10 time Women’s Champion overall in her career.
IMPACT is in the midst of their current post Bound for Glory tapings and at this time it has been noted who James will be facing at the next IMPACT Plus event – Turning Point.
As confirmed by PWInsider, on Nov. 20, James will be defending her title against Mercedes Martinez. Martinez won a shot at the Knockouts Championship from winning the Knockouts Knockdown tournament. Prior to making this announcement, James worked a match for the title against Madison Rayne.
