Stardom tag team match to be added to G1 Supercard

The full lineup for the Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden has been announced. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a Stardom tag team match will be added to the card, but has not been announced yet. The show will take place during WrestleMania weekend on Saturday, Apr. 6.

ROH and Stardom teased Kagetsu & Hazuki vs. Hana Kimura & Sumie Sakai on social media last Friday. The match between these four women would be a talent showcase of Japanese women’s wrestling.

If this match does come to fruition, it will be the second women’s match to be featured on the already stacked card. Women of Honor World Champion Mayu Iwatani will defend her title against Kelly Klein. Iwatani won the championship in February when she defeated Klein and then retained in a rematch at ROH’s 17th Anniversary pay-per-view.

Stardom will have their own event during WrestleMania weekend. American Dream 2019 will take place on Friday the 5th in Queens, New York.

We will keep you posted when this match is officially announced. Do you want to see this Stardom tag team match added to the card? Leave a comment below and let us know!
