Tonight on Raw, Stephanie McMahon learned a painful lesson: never strike an ex-employee.
In an attempt to get another laugh at the expense of Nikki Bella, Stephanie booked the Total Divas star in a 4-on-1 Handicap match. Nikki would go on the lose the match thanks to the combined efforts of Alicia Fox, Cameron, Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes, but not before Brie Bella made a shocking return.
Brie was at ringside, having bought a ticket to the show. She got into a verbal altercation with Stephanie, which turned physical when Stephanie slapped her.
That appeared to be the end of things until later in the show, when Florida law enforcement approached Stephanie at ringside, arresting her for battery against Brie.
Despite her threats and protests, Stephanie was escorted from the building, placed in the back of the officers’ car and driven to the local police station.
