In the first of today’s two Total Divas matches, Natalya and celebrity guest Maria Menounos picked up a victory this afternoon over Brie Bella and Eva Marie at SummerSlam Axxess in Los Angeles.
The match follows recent trash-talking by the Bellas and Natalya on Twitter, which led to speculation the Divas would square off tonight on pay per view at SummerSlam. The match instead took place at WWE’s pre-SummerSlam fan convention, with Brie and Natalya instead facing off one-on-one at the big show.
With the victory, Maria continues her undefeated streak in WWE, following victories on Raw in 2009, Tribute to the Troops in 2011 and at WrestleMania 28.
Will Natalya be able to defeat Brie again at SummerSlam tonight?
