Congratulations are in order for Worldwide Underground’s “La Wera Loca” and Lucha Underground’s resident rockstar and champion, Taya and Johnny Mundo as the couple announced their engagement.
In a series of twitter posts the couple revealed “she said yes!”

Taya and Johnny are rumored to have been dating since 2016.
Taya debuted in The Temple last year as Johnny’s equalizer. She’d go on to become a reluctant mediator between Worldwide Underground as Johnny made his way to the top of the promotion, defeating Sexy Star in November to capture the Lucha Underground Championship.
In a recent interview Taya said there’s more in store for the LU brand this season, praising upcoming intergender matches and promising an expanded focus on her character.
