My interests outside of wrestling: Movies are my biggest passion, especially dramas. HBO and TCM are constantly on my TV. Reading is a big pastime for me as well, mostly in the classics and non-fiction areas like history. I’m usually reading several books at once, which can be confusing for my Goodreads friends. I’m also an aspiring know-it-all and love to learn, be it about history, science, languages or whatever you throw at me. Aside from all of that I love the creative side of advertising, and I hope to become a copywriter one day. Think Peggy Olsen on Mad Men; I want her job.

My most played song on iTunes: “Cold Water” by Tom Waits.

The movie I could watch on an endless loop Initially, I thought of saying Fight Club, since it’s my favorite movie, but I could honestly watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl until my eyes bleed. It’s one of those “comfort movies” for me.

My favorite book: “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley.

My favorite fictional character: I’m gonna be totally cliché here and say Harry Potter. He’s a pretty complex character for what is essentially a kids’ fiction series, and even if you’re not a teenage boy (which I can’t say I’ve ever been), you can relate to him. I can’t imagine many other characters that I would enjoy reading about for 7 books, much less when those 7 books encapsulate the insufferable teenage years. That series is such a phenomenon, and the fact that it’s gotten generations of children (and adults) into reading is remarkable. Many people prefer the supporting characters, I’m totally a mark for Harry.

My female wrestling ‘spirit animal’ would be… My 12-year-old self would say Lita, since I sincerely wanted to be her back then. Today, I would probably say the same thing, except I’m cool with being me. Like Lita’s persona, I’m not the bubbliest person and have always felt like a bit of a tomboy. I strive to be a bigger “risk taker” and, deep down in my subconscious, I probably want a gigantic dragon tattoo.

If I had a free shot at any character in wrestling, I would hit… Michael Cole. I hate to hate him. He brings me physical pain. The remote control and its mute button are my best friends during Raw.

If I was a wrestler, my go-to gimmick and entrance music would be… I desperately want to be a badass, so I’d probably adopt a post-apocalyptic tough girl look à la Milla Jovovich in the Resident Evil movies (minus the many gun holsters and chopped hair). My personality would be serious and sarcastic, and if I were a babyface I’d probably be an anti-hero. My music would be “Goin’ Out West” by Tom Waits–it’s such a unique, badass song.

The finishing move I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of is… The Widow’s Peak. Neck damage isn’t something I’m too interested in.

If I had front row seats to WrestleMania & faced the hard camera, my sign would say… “I want women’s wrestling” in as big and bold letters as I can manage. It would be a simple, straight-forward way to express all my frustrations and desires having to do with the WWE’s treatment of their Divas.
