Tegan Nox provides an injury update, talks about Pride Month and who she wants to team up with in NXT

NXT Superstar Tegan Nox recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump to talk about her injury recovery, celebrating Pride Month and who she would like to team up with and go after the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Nox is out of action while she rehabs another ACL injury. Nox suffered her third ACL in September of last year.

Here’s what Nox had to say about her recovery;

“It’s going well, it’s going well you know. Its not my first rodeo as we all know, so its been a bit easier this time round. but, it’s going well and I’m biding my time as to when I come back and try and make an impact this time.”

The panel then asked the ‘Shiniest Wizard’ what Pride Month meant to her. Last July, Nox came out when she posted a photo on Instagram with her girlfriend.

Nox had the following to say about Pride Month;

“It’s probably my first one actually celebrating Pride Month. It means a lot you know, I’ve not only myself part of the LGBTQ+ community there’s a lot of other people I know, friends, family that are also part of it. It just means a lot to have this month to celebrate and be proud of who we are and we should be proud of who are every month of the year. It’s cool.”

Conversation then turned to NXT and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championshipships. The titles were not around when Nox was last in action and she was asked if she challenged for them who would be her partner.

Nox replied;

“See, that’s the thing, friends don’t end well for me. They always attack me. So, trying to find a partner is, oof. I don’t know. I’d like to with, maybe an Io (Shirai) as a partner. I think that could be quite interesting. Any gold is the goal for me.”

Before Nox’s injury, she teamed with Shirai in a win over Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai.
