Tegan Nox reveals the severity of her third ACL injury

Tegan Nox has a long and unfortunate history of knee injuries. Nox tore her ACL on two occasions during her time in NXT. The first time was in 2017 just after she signed for the promotion and the second heartbreaking time was in her return match in 2018’s Mae Young Classic.

In 2020 WWE announced that she was to go under a third surgery to yet again repair her ACL.

In a recent Twitter post, Nox revealed that prior to the surgery last year she wrestled for almost two years without an ACL in her left knee.

Nox disclosed that she competed in the street fight against Dakota Kai at NXT TakeOver: Portland and a cage match also against Kai the following month of March without an ACL.

In the post, Nox stated that she didn’t know the condition her knee was in because there wasn’t any pain or symptoms and it was a normal checkup that picked up the need for surgery once again.

Nox returned to NXT earlier this year and was called up to the main roster the following week. Along with Shotzi Blackheart, Nox surprisingly debuted on SmackDown to defeat the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Tamina and Natalya in a non-title bout.
