Tenille Dashwood returns as The Influence meets The IInspiration

On this week’s IMPACT! Tenille Dashwood made her return after missing some time off. Madison Rayne greeted her back by asking her how her trip around the world in 30-days was.

Dashwood was supposed to compete in the inaugural match for the IMPACT Digital Media Championship at Bound for Glory. but was replaced by Madison Rayne at the last moment when she was unable to compete.

Now Dashwood has returned and embraced her Influence teammates to ask what has been going on in her absence. Rayne and Kaleb with a K brought up the “new girls” who won the tag team championships and how they are also from Australia. This perked the interest of Dashwood saying that being from Australia was “her thing” so they went to go find The IInspiration.

The tag champs were seen at the end of a hallway applying each other’s make-up. Instead of the two teams colliding, Dashwood and The IInspiration were happy to see one another. Madison seemed confused about the celebration but Kaleb was feeling the vibe as he introduced himself as Kaleb with a K meeting The IInspiration with two I’s.

Next week’s IMPACT! will have The IInspiration and The Influence team up to face all four members of Decay.

The one Knockouts match that aired this week witnessed Rachael Ellering (w/ Digital Media Champion Jordynne Grace) taking on Savannah Evans (w/Tasha Steelz). Ellering gets a huge victory over Evans following three running sentons and a fireman’s carry cutter. Steelz gets involved but Ellering takes her out with a clothesline.

Mickie James is defending her Knockouts World Title at Hard to Kill where she will be facing the woman she defeated for the title, Deonna Purrazzo. The two continue to have the utmost animosity towards each other and it continued to show on this week’s IMPACT!

During a match between Matthew Rehwoldt and Chris Sabin, Purrazzo was on commentary. Towards the end of the match, James came rushing down to the ringside area and the two started a brawl which led to Sabin picking up the victory. The two continued to run to the back after the match was over.

Next week, James will team with Sabin to take on Purrazzo and Rehwoldt.

Lastly, at Hard to Kill on Jan. 8, the first-ever Ultimate X Knockouts match will take place. Scott D’Amore confirmed it will be six Knockouts that will participate. After both Chelsea Green and Alisha came up to D’Amore backstage with hopes of joining the match, he confirmed they will have to wait to find out if they make the cut next week when he announces the participants.
