This past weekend, Netflix’s GLOW series picked up two Creative Arts Emmy Awards and wrapped up their second season, which premiered over the summer, with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling boarding a bus to Las Vegas.
With the show being renewed for a third season, and the future wide open, The A.V Club caught up with a few of the cast members to find out which wrestling Superstars they’d love to have guest-star in season three and beyond. Names included AJ Lee, The Bella Twins and Nia Jax.
This past summer, the ladies of GLOW made an appearance on WWE’s SmackDown Live during a backstage segment with Superstars Lana and Naomi.
Other cross promotions between GLOW and WWE Superstars include a faceoff on Drop the Mic that featured the team of Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox and Carmella across
Kate Nash, Jackie Tohn, Sanita Mani and Britney Young.
