Today in History: Hamada and Taylor Wilde win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles

On this day in history:

August 5th, 2010 | Hamada and Taylor Wilde had held the Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Hamada with Awesome Kong, Taylor with Sarita – but never together. They looked to rectify that when they challenged Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky, who were defending the titles under the Freebird Rule. Fellow Beautiful People member and Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne sat this one out, but made her presence felt nonetheless, standing on the entrance ramp and watching as her new ally, the mysterious biker woman, tried to help Lacey and Velvet retain the titles. Her plan backfired, though, Lacey getting a steel chair dropkicked into her face and taking the pin. Suddenly, The Beautiful People weren’t quite so golden.
