Today in History: Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James at TLC 2009

On this day in history:

December 13th, 2009 | Accompanied by her Lay-Cool bestie Layla, Michelle McCool defended her Women’s Title against Mickie James at 2009’s TLC Pay-Per-View. The match took place in the midst of the “Piggie James” feud, as evidenced by Layla’s customized top. Mickie looked to get even with her tormenters, but interference by Layla threw a wrench in her plans. Layla received an accidental boot by Michelle for her troubles, but it put into motion a series of events that brought the same boot to Mickie’s head and gave Michelle the 1-2-3.
