Today in History: Jazz vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 18

On this day in history:

March 17th, 2002 | At WrestleMania 18, a Triple Threat match for Jazz‘s Women’s Title pitted the champ against Lita and Trish Stratus. Placing two fan favorites against one another was a unique set-up, but the babyfaces didn’t play nice for very long. They battled fiercely until each effectively disarmed the other and left an opening for Jazz, Trish knocked to the outside and Lita vulnerable on the top turnbuckle. Jazz took advantage of this scenario and hit Lita with a fisherman’s suplex from the top rope to take the win and retain her title.
