Today in History: Jillian Hall and Lilian Garcia sing for ‘WWE Idol’

On this day in history:

August 13th, 2007 | In one of the WWE’s many attempts at spoofing pop culture, they held a “WWE Idol” competition during Raw. Of course, Jillian Hall competed, singing – and butchering – “Memory” from the Broadway show Cats. Judges Mick Foley, Maria Kanellis and William Regal were not impressed. Our ears were soothed, though, when Lilian Garcia competed later, belting out an impressive rendition of “New York, New York”.

What are your memories of this moment?
