Today in History: Kharma leaves the WWE

On this day in history:

May 30th, 2011 | After weeks spent intimidating and decimating her fellow Superstars, Kharma made an abrupt exit from the company. She spoke for the first time in the middle of the ring, telling the fans that she was taking some time away, but vowing that she would be back. The meaningful promo was interrupted by Brie and Nikki Bella, who seemed to draw courage from this and proceeded to mock Kharma’s emotional announcement. This put a giant bullseye on the twins, but the heat has since worn off, Kharma eventually returning to Impact Wrestling and setting her sights on other targets.
