Today in History: The First “Fulfill Your Fantasy” Battle Royal

On this day in history:

October 19th, 2004 | The first Taboo Tuesday PPV brought with it the first “Fulfill Your Fantasy” Battle Royal, in which the fans voted for the costumes the Divas would wear while competing. The fans voted for schoolgirl outfits, so the Divas came clad in plaid skirts and knee-high socks. Did I mention that the Women’s Title was on the line? Yes, champ Trish Stratus defended her title against Gail Kim, Jazz, Molly Holly, Nidia, Stacy Keibler and Victoria while they all wore the “fantasy fulfilling” outfits. Skirt or not, Trish competed like she was the champ, eliminating Molly last to retain her title.

What are your memories of this moment?
