Today in History: Trish Stratus Becomes a Two-Time Women’s Champion

On this day in history:

May 13th, 2002 | Trish Stratus and Bubba Dudley teamed up to face Jazz and Stevie Richards in a Mixed Tag Team match that put both Jazz’s Women’s Title and Richards’s Hardcore Title on the line. If Trish pinned Jazz, she’d win the Women’s Title. This stipulation allowed the Divas to use foreign objects on one another, but it was a plain old Stratusfaction that gave Trish the victory and made her a two-time Women’s Champion. Winning the belt wasn’t enough for Trish, though, and she ordered Bubba to get the tables, helping him hit his signature powerbomb on Jazz.

What are your memories of this moment?
